@paulunga: Yes, but you don't actually need the asset pack downloaded. Just go into the graphicsoptions.ini file and turn the setting on: if you don't have the high res assets downloaded, it just turns on things like better grass.

@zolbek: Maybe you just know roguelikes really well and that experience carries over? Kind of like how Souls fans say your first Souls game is always the hardest.

@dazzhardy: It's definitely more geared towards being a proper fighting game than the more RPG thing previous Dissidia games were. As someone who is an avid fighting game player, it's a lot of fun in that regard, though. For me, at least.

I enjoyed I Am Setsuna for the aesthetic, even if everything else about it was extremely average. It was a slow-paced turn-based JRPG that I played all the way through, which is really hard to do for me, so something resonated somewhere. I'll probably grab this on sale to play on commutes, it seems like a step forward? There's mechs or something in here too, I heard, so I wanna see that.

@Menkhor: Kind of. Tokyo RPG Factory is on a small-ass budget, kind of like SE set them up to fail.

@zentheninja: In what sense? Critically? Because last I heard FFXV sold gangbusters and it reviewed alright.

@yyninja: Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't been reading my Project Phoenix backer updates much lately, but isn't it that the dev team received some amount of outside funding for Tiny Metal and were promised some sort of funding deal for Project Phoenix if Tiny Metal sold well.

Somehow Episode Shadow looks like the Sonic gameplay I want, and I didn't see any of that in the main game. Guess I'll play Generations again instead :/

@lemonadepack: I was going to use that argument to argue the opposite. The red shine's trigger isn't putting it in the cup/claiming it, the trigger is "entering the field" (i.e. drawing it from the machine). Dan fucked up and put the shine in his cup before trading cups so I'm fine with how it worked out, but future shines IMO should be handled where the effect is activated and then the shine is claimed. Unless I'm mistaken, the effect of the red shine is to trade cups, not to trade shines.

@loktarogar: Did they do a spoilercast for MGSV? They did one for NGS4, for sure.

I like the first Knack and I liked the demo of the Knack 2. I don't understand the bias against these games at all. Nice animation, decent gameplay, likeable characters, even Knack itself. And I don't get why GB hates the games since Drew is in them. That should mean something to them.

If they changed their opinion of a game just because someone they know is in it, that opinion becomes worthless.
