I think it's awesome that this site is setup so that we can generate the content ourselves.  The forums, I really like how the favorites are handled, are great.  This GiantBomb seems like much more community site, and I really like that aspect of it.

Yeah, what the hell did happen to that Batman game?  It could be a Batman game that actually incorporates the detective skills.  Plus, it would be awesome moving through the city using gadgets to get around.

Well, as a gamer I find the "your favorite game" thing a boring topic.  I'd much rather talk about a specific game or a game concept.  I would rather the people who generate the "your favorite game" topics, post a topic about their favorite game.  Then discussion can be about that game.

As far as the negative stereotype, I think it's best just to ignore these people.  You can't have a rational conversation with them, because they're essentially trolls.  Why else take the time to post about a topic you have no interest in?

I like Daemon tools better.  It worked great for installing Visual Studio 2008 (downloaded via Dreamspark).  I realize I could've used Alcohol 120%, but Alcohol feels clumsy.
