As others have said, internet infrastructure is just not where it needs to be in order to make this work. Especially with pricing and bandwidth caps in place. In the interim, i'll take my physical media and will go for digital when/where I please.

WORLD STAR! WORLD STAR! WORLD STAR!

Exactly what I thought when I saw this. Pretty sickening that they pick on people who are totally minding their own business. Here's hoping they learn their lesson by getting their teeth knocked out.

At this point, i'm taking a wait and see approach. It would be amazing to get an SSD, but hopefully they'll go down in price in the near future. In the meantime, like others have said there really isn't anything that i'm super excited to play until March.

It's probably just additional funding guys. I doubt GB is going down or anything...

He's clearly just talking about budget meetings. Nothing to get worried about.

Totally this.

It was a great game, but I don't know that it gets GOTY. I think it ends up somewhere between 5-8 personally.

It's all in good fun. There's nothing to be taken from the voting really, as what you enjoy the most should be all that you care about.

Tough call for me. But I voted Deus Ex as I absolutely love the world.

@davidwitten22: Of course. That is why Activision isn't supposed to drop it's own successful series, that's inane - it's the job of others to develop something better to dethrone the king.

Not while the others can just copycat that proven blueprint and still be successful. Even the great white hope Titanfall is by the CoD architects and looks about 95% CoD.

Nobody will bother going out of their way to make something new / different because not enough people are demanding that. Rest assured, people will eventually get bored of just playing the same few games over and over again, it'll just take some longer than others. If the vast majority are perfectly happy repeatedly paying for the same game every year -often multiple times- then indeed, who am I to argue with them? If collectively we want stagnation then that's what we'll have.

"This sort of thinking would lead the entire industry to complete stagnation."

Welcome to the last five years.

Totally agree with this. Really depressing to see Halo 4 try and copy from CoD, when it shouldn't have had to.

PSN: VeggiesBro

Timezone: Mountain

Games at launch: BF4, Killzone, and possibly Ghosts.

I will be getting an Xbox One, likely around release of Titanfall. I'm always looking to have more friends on either console.
