I will say I really appreciate this new format. Feels way less repetitive and respectful of both the staff's time as well as ours. The opening listing of games was a nice way to highlight stuff that might not appear on categories, and the reduction of categories fits the spirit of this site way more. The only thing that I might miss are awards that maybe dumped on bad games or things, but I can just as easily do without that.
@misantrope: Origin's been a pretty solid program for the past few years. Sucks that you have to install something else, but if it works and doesn't kill my system I don't mind.
@niceguybuddha: You're right that proper sub-machine guns were very rare in the war, but I did find this picture that looks pretty close to the gun that Vinny had. It didn't have the curved magazines, but the devs may have seen one like this and based the design off of that. With the multiplayer, I tend to suspend my disbelief with Battlefield games, as they are more than willing to sacrifice realism for the sake of fun. I'm fine with it, but I can see where there's an issue.
@zaphodi: I've been playing the trial on an i3 with a GTX 750. Obviously I'm running on low, but the framerate has been very consistent and it actually still looks really good. Enough that I actually haven't tried pushing the settings up because to me it's fine. Even multiplayer has been great. I wonder if they just didn't test on i3-equipped systems.
