From what I played last night, I can confirm that lag has pretty much gone on my game and the mannequin in my Markarth home displays armour perfectly. Definitely improved the experience for PS3.

I want this to be real so badly! Those games were brilliant and I'd love to see how big the battles could get on modern hardware. If this is a thing I am buying it day 1.

Already ordered mine off of Amazon :) Sadly, due to where I live it'll probably arrive a day or two late. The money I saved was worth it though.

The time Clarkson raced the Bugatti Veyron against Hammond and May in a plane was one the best challenges they did.

In general, they're at their best on road trips. From the specials to the long distance races and the car tests across Europe the ones where they travel long distances are always the best ones.

I'm gonna break trend here and say this game has interested me less and less the more I've seen of it. The original "deadly descents" type thing of racing down a dangerous mountain seemed kind of cool, but without caring about highscores they haven't shown anything interesting. All the gameplay they've shown has focused on high scores achieved using horrible looking tricks.

I enjoyed Downhill Domination (closest thing I've played to SSX) but that had a whole bunch going for it that SSX hasn't shown. I'm sure if you like highscore focused games it'll be great, but for me it holds no interest anymore.

I could get the world record and I would still never touch that USB port.

@hollitz: Da Vinci decodes some old scrolls left by Altair who originally "invented" it after seeing something similar on his travels (which he is returning from in that memory).

Not a mistake, just not made super clear if you don't read a bunch of the codex stuff.

The controller that came packaged with my PS3 has lasted the last five years, as did the PS2 controller that came with that. Although it doesn't show any signs of breaking down I'm terrified of my PS3 controller breaking, it's one of the early Sixaxis controllers and I value the lightness of it far above vibration, unfortunately if it breaks I can't get a new one that's as light now.

Being a "young'n" on here, mine's pretty modern by comparison. I got a PS2 with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 for christmas when I was 5. It was pretty amazing seeing a place that I could interact with and do crazy stuff in. Also it was my introduction to a lot of my favourite music throughout my childhood, just the other day I finally got TNT by AC/DC just over a decade after first hearing it.

When the Assassins Creed intro video started playing the first time I used my PS3. Even though I wasn't playing on a HD TV, the step up in visuals was astounding. Once I started playing, that feeling only got stronger. Later on, seeing Uncharted's visuals (I can be quoted as saying that Uncharted's water looked better than real water) which kicked anything I had seen before out of the water (pun intended). Playing Lair was pretty impressive too, being able to fly around the levels freely with dragons fighting everywhere and the way they handled cinematic moments, especially the one-on-one takedowns, felt incredible.

In short, my first fortnight with a PS3.

Even Lair.

Not Motorstorm. It was bad.
