@hunkulese: Back in '68 there was a well-known Star Trek episode that featured an interracial kiss. The episode as a whole supposedly wasn't shown in parts of the Southern United States and parts of the UK because of this. By your logic, this isn't censorship, because the episode was left intact, just altogether not shown. I find the distinction you're making to be incredibly peculiar.
You find it peculiar because you're ignorant about what censorship is.
Jack Kerouac is even worse, except it's line breaks instead of punctuation. I think I've only ever once seen him use a line break, and I think that was an accident.
