These shirts rule! The artists all did a hell of a job. I think my favorite is probably the Bomb TV one. Definitely see about three or four of these I want to pick up, though.
There was a brief moment around the 54-minute mark where Jeff was asking about the green bath water.
Tam responded by saying the water is so clean that it just looks green, but that is, in fact, false.
It actually is due to bath salts. In Japan, one of the most popular brands, "Bathclin", has had a green color to it ever since they released their popular "Mori no Kaori" (Fragrance of the forest) variety in 1930. Ever since, green bath water has simply been commonplace in Japan.
This is the reason you'll commonly see green bath water in anime, and also why it often goes unexplained, since it's such a common practice to use bath salts in Japan.
I absolutely love this table! They've got a pro edition at my local brewery and I've played it every time I've went there. Still have yet to see a premium edition in the wild, but the pro edition still feels like a complete experience, so I don't really feel like I'm missing too much.
Really love the Stern Insider stuff, too. Besides high scores getting saved, I was actually pleasantly surprised by the pinball achievements integration, much more-so than I thought I'd be. Excited to see it become a standard across more games. I know they sell a kit for select recent Stern games, but I'd love if they sold a kit that could be retrofitted to even old tables from the 90s if at all possible (even if just for high score stuff).
This was great! Loved this first episode. As for who you should talk to next, I'd absolutely love to see what kind of guilty treasure mister Dan Ryckert has in store for you.
Hmm... things seem decidedly less goofy without Ben here... which is a shame.
I guess I never realized it, but Ben has kind of become the frosting on top of the cake for Giant Bomb West. That is to say, without him you've still got cake, but he really makes the cake so much better. ^_^
