Weird and Obscure Games for Fun People

I like obscure games, whether that's weird, unusual or quirky story, gameplay, art or anything in between. This list puts together some of the fun obscure games out there on consoles that you should play.

If you know of any missing and that I should check out please let me know!

List items

  • Take Animal Crossing, now remove decorating your room but add a bizarre story...then add a button to attempt kissing everyone you meet. Yupp, that's Chulip.

  • Can't find a way to solve the puzzle in 3D, fine smash, or "Crush" it into 2D. That's the premise, have fun!

Side Note: Personally this is a big one for any fans of the puzzle gameplay of Catherine.

  • I'm not even going to try explaining this acid trip...just watch a video.

  • You strip vampires so they burn up in the sun...done.

  • Warioware if Wario was replaced by a Japanese family.

  • Not a fan of the controls but this game is as bizarre as they come. Fly around as a mosquito and get blood from the Japanese family whose home you've invaded.

I guess I'm biased since I always wanted him to get smashed.

  • Honestly, not that fun in my opinion but the novelty is there. I mean hell, you're talking to a fish.

  • They put a tech deck onto a controller...it didn't work, but I got a kick out of it.

  • Really bizarre story and unusual puzzle gameplay make this one of my favorite games of all time. Not a widely held view, but it's mine.

  • Before the Minecraft phenomenon there was Cubivore, a blocky Jurassic quirk of a game.

  • As opposed to Stretch Panic on this list which I call an acid trip...this is an acid trip. Seriously...it even says it.

@rejizzle: I totally forgot about Cubivore and LSD, they're great! As for Let's Tap I feel like I've heard of it but have to check it out. Since The You Testament is on PC I wouldn't include it on this list, just way to many obscure ones haha, but will definitely check it out!
