There's a hundred dead Vitas outside, waiting for the night to come.

Nov 18. Called it.

Still, no actual list of launch games here. Weird.

Every time I look at a WiiU box the first thing that pops into my head is that it is wearing an Eric Cartman hat. Every damn time.

Nintendo wants you to respect its autoritah.

@Kierkegaard: In some way Papo & Yo is a cross between Pan's Labyrinth and Inception, but it doesn't have the impact of the former or the pacing or weight of the latter. I agree that manipulating the world in the first half is kinda neat, but it runs out of twists very quick, right down to ripping off the curling city of Inception (Ok, this is cool... but I've seen this before). And the latter puzzles (the last three if I remember) are incredibly tedious and repetitive.

I... I don't like it. At all. I'm sorry. The level design is sloppy, the camerawork is never satisfying, and the story has no pacing and is too naïve for its own good.

But this isn't about me; what did you think about the game?

I remember I once found a small pamphlet for Xbox games coming soon, and it was just filled with stuff you never heard about (for good reasons) or stuff that just got canned. You know, amazing games like Malice... or Nightcaster... or Kakuto Chojin... or The Lost.

...yeah.

I think it's bad. Creating in this game is a nightmare, as the material tools are too complicated to do anything substential. While people can create amazing things in LBP, the shapes you see around the tracks made by the community are basic or they come when the Beta, because you can't really create anything else. On the other hand, the kart and character customization is a downgrade of MNR, so basically the creation aspect is cruelly lacking. I love LBP, but this is kind of a mess. To be honest, everything I see in the Beta tells me this is not ready for primetime at all, and should be delayed half a year at the very least. It is not a good game.

Also, yes, the camera is zoomed out too much, but since you can change it in the settings, I don't think it's that bad.
