Goal is to clear backlog, purchasing very few games this year. Will this be the year I attempt Jade Empire?

List items

  • 1/5/2015. 360. Unbeatable without guides. [3/5]

  • Burial At Sea

1/7/2015. 360. Episode 1 initial lack of combat made it incredibly interesting and fun, but once it came into play, it was more shitty Infinite combat that was sorta mixed with the original Bioshock. Episode 2 made Elizabeth so incredibly weak, it seemed like a step-backwards. The way it alters the ending of Infinite ruins the original narrative and forces a conclusion upon the universe, and sometimes it feels like a recycling of content. Episode 1: [3/5]. Episode 2: [3/5]

  • 1/25/15. 360. Interesting, but short. Story is great, but it's stuck in an Assassin's Creed game. [4/5]

  • 2/3/15. 360. What a janky game. All the dialog options going into Spanish in the forth episode, and then once restarted, another language on the unlocking of extras and characters remembering your choices. All the action scenes were stuttering messes, freezing and making the quick-time events seem rushed and poorly made. Even the opening title stutters along. All that, and it's still a great story with interesting twists. [4/5]

  • 5/12/15. PS3.

    Episode 1: 4/5

    Episode 2: 3/5

  • 5/17/15. PS3.

  • 5/19/15. PS3.

    3/5

  • 6/1/15. 3DS.

  • 6/28/15. 3DS.

The formula needs to change before I'll play another. The encounters, the battles, the journey... Maybe I just want nothing but endless gym battles. [2/5]
