I'm playing Dying Light right now and 'Bumper Jumper's almost a necessity. It's more first-person-melee-and-parkour than first-person-shooter though.

I started playing Dying Light over the weekend and I can't get used to jump being on the bumper at all. Honestly, I'm not a fan of any of the controls in Dying Light. Jump should be A. Grenades should be a bumper, not a trigger. The kick should be click in a stick or the right bumper, the bumper right next to the weapon trigger. The "jam the button to force open this thing" should be the same button you use to activate the things. Knocking a zombie off of your when it grabs you should be one of the melee buttons, not the A button.

Still not as weird as hearing Chloe from Life is Strange as the lead in Horizon: ZD.

She also does a voice for Fallout 4 as a charcter in Vault 81. The sister of the kid that does drugs. As soon as I heard it I was like, "Chloe, is that you!?"

As for Dan's voice acting, I think we all already knew Dan doesn't have the skills for a career outside of playing video games.

Definitely a 144hz 1440p monitor. If you haven't used a 144hz monitor before you're in for a treat. Even in Windows everything moves so smoothly. I have an ACER XB270HU.

You can also find out just how crazy those people are that think the human eye can't see above 60fps.

4k... I would rather that horsepower go to smoother framerates and more complex scenes. 4k was a silly idea, I have no idea why 1440p wasnt the next step, it made the most logical sense to be the next step. Now we have displays on the market our hardware can barely take advantage of years later.

I never understood that either. 4k is four times the resolution of 1080p. That's a massive leap. I think 1440p is like 75% more pixels than 1080p. That's much more manageable from a performance standpoint.

I would buy Overwatch to be on the early release hype train for a multiplayer game. I have zero interest in the DOOM or Unchartred 4 multiplayer and the single player campaigns aren't changing anytime soon.

That said, I already own DOOM and Uncharted 4 and will never buy Overwatch.

Can't wait til Nintendo cease and desists the shit out of this

Yeah. You have to give the developers a year or two though so when they get the cease and desist it really breaks their hearts.

I stopped buying DLC in the last year or so unless its extremely discounted on Steam. Even for games I really enjoy. I loved The Witcher 3 but only played the first couple hours of the DLC.

That Fallout 4 DLC came out this week. I really like Fallout 4, but going back to it after beating a dozen games since its original release last year is hard for me. I want completely new experiences, not to go back to the same well months later.

Any speculation on when the Titan variant of this will come out?

The GTX Titan came out 9 months after the GTX 780. The GTX Titan X came out 6 months after the GTX 980.

I would guess early 2017 for the Titan version of the GTX 1080.
