On a more broad note, I'd wish they would have like an embargo on last gen games. Only new gen. If your game is coming only to PS3 or 360 then we don't want your kind 'round here.

It was a TNT I think when Ryan brought in a 3do and they played with that. Some real gems including the original Need for Speed.

I really hope I get to see the Rift become something the size and shape of wraparound sunglasses in the near future. Then I'll buy one.

When I upgraded from 32-bit XP to 64-bit Windows 7, it was much easier to store all I wanted to save on a cheap Seagate external HD and format the PC's hard disks.

For RAM, people will probably say otherwise but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a game that is capable of taking advantage of more than 4 gb of RAM. That may change in the near future but unless you are using your PC for lots of 3D rendering or protein folding or multivariable calculus, I wouldn't get more than 16 gb. Heck you'd probably do with 8.

I got a free copy when I bought a new video card a while ago. I activated the key, never ever started it up. Meh.

Protip: if you say "Lave Dang" to Dave near a mirror he will be sucked into the Lang Zone and trapped there until another person says Lave Dang into a mirror somewhere on our material plane.

@counterclockwork87: It all starts to add up awful fast. Nowadays any new game is going to be 20gb minimum. I remember when I bought my first 1TB drive I thought it was the last HD I would buy because I could never use up that much space. Since then I've piled another TB onto that for all my games and mods.

@pie: The Red Dwarf was great, but I always loved the Starbug. If I could have a spaceship I would want the Starbug.
