@UltorOscariot: The health care act has tax to incentivise people to get health care insurance. You can choose any provider, no one is forcing you. This is the compromise to get rid of preexisting conditions. Without it someone could wait until their sick then get insurance knowing that providers would have to take them. I don't know about you, but I think that's better than preexisting conditions and also insuring millions of Americans. Studies also show that people having preventative care will save a lot in medical costs.

@Bio2hazard: I was also struggling with where to place scripts, it seems people just attach them to empty game objects like a "MasterObject". I'm working on an event manager for another unity project and was able to make it a singleton. I'll share it with this project if needed.

@Bio2hazard: I would try disabling physics and adding a character controller. As for models I think you can just copy the .blend file straight into the assets folder and it will recognize it.

Should probably set a time so you guys chat and come up with the basic idea/mechanics so we can get to prototyping.

How do you think we should split the code work, Layout everything out and everyone pick a task?

I think it would be a lot easier to stick with an existing engine like unity since most of the coders know c++\c# anyway. I mean, you think about it. It's a big enough task coding the game logic, ai, event manager, etc. without worrying about the low level stuff.

Since that awesome GB persona art popped up, I've been playing around with a giantbomb rpg in Unity. Got the main UI animated and working. So if you need anymore coders In OpenGL, C++, c#, Java, or Android I'm in.

Looks like you mostly need the money for assets. That seems like something you can wait on until the mechanics and code are done. I also think that Ultimate FPS script is on sale for 10 dollars today.
