Sounds intense!. I had (have?) an abscess in one of my lower molars. The pain got so bad that even after taking way more tylenol than you are supposed to, the only way I could get any type of relief was eventually to punch myself in the jaw repeatedly. I eventually got over my doctor anxiety enough to go to a dentist and they said it was infected and gave me some antibiotics. I've always been the type of person to just deal with stuff like that instead of fixing it (for a variety of stupid reasons I tell myself) but after reading this, I'm going to make it a bigger priority to get these shitty teeth dealt with finally. As far as games to play, may want to give Marvel Heroes a try if you like loot grind Diablo like stuff. It's free but the monetization is not gross, they've made a ton of improvements since it launched and there are a billion different heroes to play (though at the end of the year when the Danger Room mode is implemented, that's when it'll get super awesome IMO).

Man, with how shitty my teeth have been for the last 12 + years, I feel either incredibly lucky it hasn't turned into something like this or like shit's going to get real any second >.>;;;;

I pay for premium but never listen to the premium cast because I'd rather hear the ads lol.

you may want to look for support jobs that are in house/more concentrated clients.

I worked for a long time at a support place where I basically supported a ton of different companies (and it sucked). After going to school and then going back to that job, I ended up getting a job through a friend that does support for one company's POS system, which pays a lot better and didn't require any certs (though I'm sure they wouldn't hurt if you had any). Granted I had a friend that got me in the door in this case, but if you can find something like that it may be worthwhile, and then work on getting into games from there.

Personally I didn't hate it, but I also was never great at those games despite enjoying them so I may have been fine with it simply because it let me at least pretend in my mind I was good. I'm sure if I played it now I would wonder why I ever liked it.

Actually I ended up getting more ram because I was getting memory errors, which I attribute mostly to me going from 2GB to 8GB and then going "I have so much ram, I don't need to care about what's running in the background!"...until that caught up with me -_- lol

I'm running this fine at this point.

I have an AMD 8320 procc OC'ed to 4.2 GHz.

Initially I had 8 GB ram and a 2GB HD 7870. After the initail AMD drive update came out the next day or so, it wasn't bad, but it was all low quality.

I ended up picking up a 4GB GTX 960 and also upping my system ram to 16 GB and now I run it at 1080p with everything at normal and some things higher (the textures are at the higher option that requires a 3 GB card or greater).

It's not perfect, but it's on par or better with the PS4 version at this point so I'm happy :).

I love Twilight Imperium but it's a pretty significant commitment to play. If you guys like Lord of the Rings, there is a great LotR Co-op game (also designed by Reiner Knizia, I second Hugh_Jazz's 'fuck yeah' for Reiner) published by Fantasy Flight. Mag Blast is a fun game for something more casual and laid back (plus you get to make all kinds of space ship noises! :D ). King of Tokyo is also a really fun game.

Betrayal is great if you can find a copy, and it's a game with a lot of replayability. If you are interested in board games and haven't already checked it out, Wil Wheaton has a show on the Geek & Sundry Youtube channel called 'Tabletop' where he....you guessed it...plays tabletop games! (I'm sure that premise was very shocking given the title lol). Not only is it entertaining but you get to watch people play games and you can tell if it's something you may like.

Board games have been awesome for a long time, but around 2000 I would say is when they started to get more mainstream (as someone who grew up playing things like Magic and Star Wars CCG, I was constantly at gaming shops that would carry that sort of stuff). I think Carcassone was one of the first if not the first big 'European' style games to come over that made a big splash and paved the way for it to appear outside of your local game shop.
