Redfield has built up and dedicated his career in destroying Bio Organic Weapons and fighting against producers and sellers of bioweapons after his experiencies with bioterrorism in 1998. He is the older brother of TerraSave member Claire Redfield.

  • An American Federal Agent currently employed with the Division of Security Operations (D.S.O.), a counterterrorism agency with direct Presidential oversight. Kennedy is a known survivor of the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident, then as a police officer. Following his escape, he was offered a job in a US-STRATCOM team devoted to anti-B.O.W. combat, and served it until 2011 in repeated operations around the world.

  • An accomplished virologist notorious for his work with groups affiliated with the bio-weapons black market. Originally one of the test subjects in Project W who specialised in biotechnology and bioengineering, he was an elite perfectionist individual of absolute coldness, always wearing deep-black sunglasses that gave him an even more unapproachable air. As a senior researcher linked to the t-Virus Project as early as 1978, Wesker bore witness to and at times shaped Umbrella's B.O.W. research.

  • A current member of the human rights organization, TerraSave. She is the younger sister of BSAA operative and former S.T.A.R.S. member Chris Redfield. Since her survival in the Raccoon City incident in 1998, Claire would become involved or end up in the midst of several Biohazard outbreaks around the world, prompting her, as well as Chris, to devote his career to combating the threat of Bio Organic Weapons.

  • The pseudonym of an enigmatic unnamed spy of Asian-American descent who has gained notoriety in the corporate world for being able to handle serious situations and handle the most difficult requests without guilt. She acted secretly in the background of many biohazard incidents and collected information which became useful to several organisations, while at the same time operating to undermine them. However, Ada follows only her own "true purpose" and has often betrayed the organisations and customers she is affiliated with to achieve it.

  • An agent for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, operating as part of its West African branch.[2] She was assigned to the current mission to assist Chris Redfield, who was unfamiliar with the area. A versatile fighter with extensive experience, her ability to use firearms is on par with Chris. She is much smaller and more flexible than Chris, enabling her to perform certain manoeuvres that Chris cannot. In turn, this allows Chris to throw her up to high ledges, or over large gaps in order to reach areas or objectives that a lone operative couldn't reach.

  • A mercenary for the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.). He held the rank of Corporal and served in their Delta Platoon as rear security for Alpha Squad, where was also their heavy weapons specialist. Oliveira is also one of the few survivors of the deployed squads who served during Raccoon City Destruction Incident.

  • A mercenary raised in Eastern Europe. The son of bioweapons developer Dr. Albert Wesker, he was dragged into a conspiracy to launch major terrorist attacks with the C-Virus.

  • An aristocratic British billionaire, virologist and eugenicist. One of the founders of Umbrella Pharmaceuticals, Lord Spencer was the CEO and President for its entire existence which saw its expansion as the Umbrella Corporation over the 1980s as well as its bankruptcy in 2003.

Created by Umbrella Europe's No. 6 Laboratory, the Nemesis-T Types were the culmination of the Nemesis Project with the successful implantation of NE-α parasites within T-103 hosts, presenting Umbrella with a highly intelligent and powerful creature. Several Nemesis-T Types were produced, though only one is known to have experienced combat. The resulting creature was called Nemesis for short, and the one sent in Raccoon City was nicknamed the "Pursuer". In the remake, it was simply referred to as Nemesis.

  • An agent of the United States Secret Service (USSS), a federal law enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security, and a former CIA agent. She had a younger sister named Deborah.

Frost was known for his trademark red bandana and his hot-blooded nature which ran in tandem with his generally cheerful personality. His hobby was magic.

Although he was quiet and had a serious countenance, Kenneth had a gentle personality. As well as his role in S.T.A.R.S., his hobby was dog training and he was enthusiastic about landscape gardening with skill that put experts to shame.

Bravo team as the cyber security supervisor of the team and as its marksman; a similar role of his best friend, S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team's Chris Redfield. The two were friendly rivals and commonly turned target practice into competitions, with Chris generally the victor. Like Redfield and Jill Valentine, Speyer came from a military background. He had a golden sword tattoo with crimson wings on his left upper bicep and his driving skills were above average even at a hobby level.

  • The Vice-Captain of the Special Tactics And Rescue Service under Captain Albert Wesker, and the team leader of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. A veteran known for his "impervious" mental strength, Marini was a competent and capable mission leader. He was of a clement nature and was well-respected by his subordinates.[1] His hobby was golf.

  • A virologist employed by Umbrella U.S.A., and one of the administrators at their NEST facility in the outskirts of Raccoon City. She was the wife of fellow administrator Dr. William Birkin, and mother of Sherry Birkin.

  • A Raccoon City police officer and Chief of Police of the Raccoon Police Department until 1998. Despite his position, Irons was deeply involved in corporate corruption like other city officials, and took bribes from Umbrella U.S.A. to keep the company out of investigations. During the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident, Irons suffered a mental breakdown and began killing fellow officers and refugees, and was killed violently either by Dr. William Birkin or a G parasite. Irons also had a violent history with women and is suspected of having been a serial killer, though due to his position in the RPD and the destruction of the city, these murders were never investigated.
