@wandrecanada: not to nitpick, but nu-cu-lar is 100% a mispronunciation. Same as li-bare-eee. Just because I can infer what you are trying to say does not make it valid.
It absolutely makes it valid. The message and not the means validates communication. Spelling the word later or l8r is valid so long as the reader can understand it.
Not that codification is not useful. It eases use for everyone if we agree on certain rules. There's a reason Merriam Webster is constantly adding words to it's dictionary (there is no definitive English codex but dictionaries are good stand-ins). It's still just a framework for the message and that's the most important part.
Lara is pronounced Lah-ruh by language rules. Localized pronunciations aren't invalid but it does not make it correct.
Think about the word nuclear and how some pronounce it nu-cu-ler. We understand the meaning so it's not invalid but it's not the original pronunciation.
@metalsocks: I sorta answered earlier but yeah once a trap is placed and destroyed you can no longer place a trap there. The ground becomes discolored as you place things indicating it is burned in future.
There is actually a boulder that does this every time you jump which helps.
You don't need mines (they were in the first game). You can get gold from wrecking enemy emplacements. It's why you should break enemy traps when possible.
Also if you break a trap nothing can be placed in that spot again. That way you can't keep placing traps in annoying spots.
Can't help you with the whales though. They are jerks.
Xavier still brings the game to GB video content. I really like the wrestlers stuff even though I'm not into the wrestling. They are great entertainers.
