Well, I checked it out, and jut like this thread, all of neogaf.com is nothing but a commentary space for people to grieve the death of NeoGaf. Everyone is grieving differently, of course, but one thing is true: “it’s dead, Jim.”
What is truly fascinating to me right now is the number of 'junior members' that are coming out of the woodwork, spouting nonsense / support for Evillore.
@marino It is worth mentioning a couple of things in regards to the MBTA and the state of things close to the convention center.
- Due to the amount of snow we had in Boston the MBTA has at times been crippled. We have no snow in the forecast for this week, but if another storm hits during the week of PAX East just know that the Red and Green lines will be running slow.
It is worth it for everyone to follow "@mbta_alerts"
- If anyone is driving into the city and thinking about parking for the weekend just know that all the parking lots around the convention center are running with fewer spaces due to the snow.
Beer: If you want to buy some fresh awesome beer stop by Trillium (after 16:00)
Booze: Its pricey but you owe it to yourself to go to Drink at least once.
Pretty much anything close to the convention center is good, Try you best to stay away form the waterfront restaurants near the seaport, they are over priced, and kind of meh (this includes: whiskey priest, jerry remy's, strega...etc)
If none of the above tickle your fancy, China Town is a very short walk from the convention center (just walk down summer street towards south station and take a left).
