This is exactly what I was wondering. He seemed downright confrontational. I can understand not wanting to color people's experience of the game by expressing your intentions but being short and blunt comes off as pretentious.
@soniking: I think that would do OK for your purposes. I gave my fiancee a similar laptop but with no dedicated graphics and it runs Psychonauts, Costume Quest, and Bioshock 1 pretty well. One thing my Alienware has that the one you picked doesn't but is invaluable to me is an HDMI out port. That allows me to hook my laptop up to my TV and use it like a console (with wireless mouse/360 controller).
I was looking forward to this game since the initial trailer. The combination of a period piece with a truly unique adversary and investigation elements just did it for me. Then, whether due to the outcry from XCOM fans or the success of Enemy Unknown, the most unique elements were scrapped (with the exception of the time period) for generic ones.
