Well as of late day yesterday my Xbox finally up and decided to die on me. Yup the dreaded "Red Ring of Death".
It all started with a long day out and about taking care of the usual business. The whole day I was having a huge
hankering to play some Rock Band. I recently realized I could actually play the drums on expert.  So when I had
got home I pulled the drums from their usual resting place to put my new found skill to the test. Plugged in the
drums, popped in my copy of Rock Band, Hit the power button and...(add odd grinding noise here)....

...3 RED LIGHTS!!! FUCK!
  Not good, not good at all.

   After all exhausted attempts to get those little lights to turn green, no luck. I figured it's time to call
1-800-4MY-XBOX.  AS the phone rang I said to my girlfriend "how much you wanna bet I won't be able to understand
 a word this guy/gal says". Not not to be racist or prejudice....or anything like that , It's just well themajority of the
time your going to get someone whos first language isn't English and or has a thick accent.
  Too my surprise..NO! He spoke plain and clear English, with one major draw back. He was constantly yelling in the
phone and was or is an auctioneer. I don't know how many times i had to say "Excuse me", "Pardon"..."WHAT!?"
   After about 30 minutes on the phone with Mr. Yellsalot, I was informed since I live in Canada they wouldn't be
fixing my Xbox but instead I'd be receiving a brand new one. YIPPEE! He also let me know that I'd be receiving an
email with a link to a pre-paided shipping label for UPS in 24 hours or so.

  So 24 hours had passed by and I checked my email. Sure enough I had an email from Microsoft with a link to
my shipping label. Guess what?

   A Dead/Broken/Fucked/Bullshit link to nothing. So it was time to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX again. This time it
 wasn't Mr. Yellsalot on the other end, but Mrs. I have an uber thick accent try and undertsand a word I'm saying,
on the phone. Well she informs me that they're going to have to ship me a box with the label and what have you
already on it.

   Ok so today is the 18th. The box is going to take a few days to get here. Then I'm goin to have to ship it back with
my broken Xbox, which will take a couple day to get there.  Mr. Yellsalot kindly let me know it will take 2-3 week for
me to receive my new Xbox. Which really means 3-4 weeks, if not longer. So by my calcuations I should be getting
my new Xbox just in time for Fable 2 and Fallout 3.
   I guess all in all not that bad. I did have my console for just over a year and I will be playing Fable and Fallout on
a brand spankin' Xbox.

It all just seems like so much to able to do what I love doing the most....My girlfrie...oh wait, I mean playing video
games.
