> Starting today, we want to enter a new era of transparency with you, the GB audience.

The post isn't signed, and posted by "Giant Bomb Staff". I don't particularly care about transparency, Giant Bomb is a business and should make the choices that make sense for them -- and they don't owe us any explanation. However, claiming to be transparent in the first sentence of this post, and then not being transparent about who wrote and posted it is ... not great.

Happy that they were able to get Super Eyepatch Wolf and it's cool to see how excited everyone involved is, but oh boy this sure feels disappointing... Giant Bomb has been over-saturated with podcasts or podcast-like content (pretty much every show except Run For The Hills and UPF), I'm not sure if another one of these was what the site needed, especially considering it's once again about a random pop-culture subject instead of the gaming content so many people have been missing.

I really hope that, after this, we can get Tamoor and Lucy to do some new show structured as shorter, gaming-related, videos instead of another podcast about showing things to Jeff Bakalar.

100%. I love Tamoor and Lucy, but have no interest in anime.

(but I don't have time to watch all GB content anyway, so if this is something other folks love, it's fine. This seems inherently a limited series, so I'll just wait it out and hope Lucy and Tamoor are doing something more exciting for GB afterward)

Who's not into the gameplay portion of the show? Time to throw down!

100% agreed. The first episode of Guilty Treasures was great because Danny and Jeff were talking about stuff that happened later in the game.

Obviously it's not possible for Danny to finish each guilty treasure game, but I would like to see Danny get a bit further into each of them and have bits of footage of that in the episode.

Still, even with the format as it is now, this is probably my favorite of the new GB shows.

@deadstar: I mean I literally just googled it and had a skip heavy listen through on youtube (in a private session to not fuck up my reccomendation) before I put this on.

But we're lazy and entitled!

(judging from the rest of the comments I'm glad this show found an audience. It's not for me, but I like Giant Bomb trying new things)

I enjoyed this. I was really hoping for some of the album to get played during the riff session though. I suppose that this isn't possible due to content rights of course, but I was hoping that at least short clips could be played? I guess the answer is me going and listening to the episode's album front to back before listening to this... but dammit I'm lazy!

100% agreed. The rest of the episodes will be behind the GB paywall, so I'm still hoping they can play some excerpts of what they're talking about in future episodes.

I'm one of those people Ben talked about-- deliberately deleted my FB account. I've been free of it for about 5 years. I have an Oculus and I don't want to be made to get back into FB to use it. I guess by 2023, if that's correct, when I'll be forced to do it, I'll move on to a different headset? I presume there will be advances by then that will be worth moving on. Or maybe I'll just... not use anything.

Considering the success of the Quest, maybe Sony will be trying to make the next PSVR a standalone device?

It's insane to me that they still haven't talked about what the plan is for the rest of the game.

I keep thinking of new theories of why...

1. They just don't know yet, they're not far enough into production

2. They know, but they don't want to commit to it publicly -- because they want to see what the reaction is to this first part and be able to adjust the scope of the remaining parts or cancel those altogether if this part does poorly.

3. Maybe they're not talking about subsequent parts because those will be for PS5 -- and in general publishers aren't ready to reveal stuff about games for new consoles.

Any other ideas? :)

Never had a WiiU so didn't play MM at all. Got MM2 day one. It's fun and all, but it is kind of a bummer how having your level played seems to be hard without having a platform with a lot of followers to play them. That was something I didn't really think about when it came to these games.

There is a forum thread right here, post your level codes and try some of the levels the rest of the GB community is making.
