I was having major problems with the combat then I just started wildly spamming the the bumpers/triggers and that's working out for some reason.

It wasn't all at once, but the whole time Patrick was on the site he brought a lot of new members to the forums that clashed with the existing videogame fans and these forums became more and more aggressive to the point that it looked like the old guard started leaving or getting banned, then gamer gate happened and Patrick left and all those new people left too. Just the way things seemed to me.

There was a large exodus from this forum 4ish years ago and it's never really recovered.

I have had 3 HP laptops over the years and none of them lasted more than 2 years before having some fatal hardware failure.

I don't buy HP laptops anymore.

Filmstruck is a streaming service that streams the criterion collection and TCM so I'll limit my selections to that.

This is my first Far Cry game and I can't seem to hit anything with any accuracy.

The Sniper rifle floats around so much it's essentially useless

The regular rifle jumps around so much...

The Bow seems pretty good but it's range is really lacking.

The pistol seems like it has so much aim assist that I can aim better with it than anything else.

I'm guessing this stuff gets better at some point with perks/upgrades but it's not a very good first impression.

What the shit is going on?

Looks like a game that extras would be playing in the background on a TV show.

@damoo: I didn't mind Ascension at all, it was the one game in the entire series that was most like Uncharted 2/3; combat, puzzles, climbing and elephant brains.
