I agree totally with the OP. It always surprises me that I know a lot more about games than these guys sometimes do, despite the fact that I have a 40+ hour a week job that DOESN'T INVOLVE KNOWING ABOUT AND WRITING ABOUT VIDEOGAMES.
I actually think the name is really good and the price is even better. I really don't understand what people have against the name. Should everything just be 3 letter acronyms?
" he's going from emo to emo. He looks kinda stupid in both imaginings of the game. "
I don't understand people throwing around words like "emo" and "twilight" as qualifiers for his new look. I basically get straight up gutter punk when looking at him. I actually think its an interesting look for a video game character. So frequently we play through games as muscle-bound giants that playing as this scraggly dude should be kind of cool.
" MGS2 > MGS >>>>> MGS4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MGS3, search your feelings, you know it to be true. Or will, once you've played them all. "
You're almost there except you've got it totally backwards...
" " The problem is the expanding crosshair. With the BR you could basically snipe people across the map with it:" I think that was the problem with it. "
This. The expanding crosshair is a huge improvement IMO.
" I haven't drank for about a month or so. I used to drink nearly every day, only taking breaks when I noticed I was drinking a whole lot. I'm trying to quit altogether and have been pretty good so far. I have a bunch of episodes of Rescue Me downloaded but I keep talking myself out of watching them because they'll make me wanna drink.
I use cannabis daily though, and would love to never think of alcohol again.

Heh, no. "
Right, no. Studies show a glass of wine or a beer (just enough to relax you) in a social setting can be good for your well being. But that's ONLY because of it lowering the walls of social interaction. "
No, dude. There are also blood thinning agents in alcohol that are beneficial as well as beer and wine being rich in anti-oxidants.
