Say what? Brad never knew about letting your partner drive everywhere? That's the best way to play this game. You also sit there and ride while you and your partner talk about plot stuff, so you won't miss any dialogue. Cuts out the long drives with awkward silences in the almost pointless open world.

The open world is only pointless because you didn't drive yourself; there are a ton of side missions you get over the radio when you drive.

Ironically this gameplay is pretty much a copy of what Brutal Legend was supposed to be at its core, which everyone hated.

1. It's not all that similar. The only thing really similar is that you have to capture the resource that gives you 'currency' otherwise Brutal Legend had bases you had to destroy and actual factions, Tooth and Tail is much more rock paper scissors with what your troop loadout ends up being. You also can't attack, only your troops.

2. This game isn't hiding what it is under the marketing

3. I personally didn't hate Brutal Legend or the RTS element and actually enjoyed it :D

Everything about Strafe seems great except for the procedural generation and actual gameplay, which is a damn shame.

@rorie: Breath of the Wild, a game with very well known framerate issues (which have mostly been patched post release for Switch) is a big candidate for Giantbomb's GOTY

Resident Evil 7, another good game that is also likely to get on the top 10 for GOTY, doesn't have a numerical 7 in the title but is instead Resident EVII_

Flatout 4, meanwhile, gets lambasted for having some framerate issues and having it just say Flatout 4 despite the fact the 4 is right there in the title in place of the A in game.

You're lucky you said my dogs were cute many many years ago on Screened, Mr. Rorie

(And also that Flatout 4 looks like a middling game to begin with ;))

the first two are great games and then the last two are garbage come at me

They are all garbage compared to Case Zero.

Having to replay the games to grind your levels is a lot more tolerable when the whole game is about 1-2 hours long. It's the perfect Dead Rising game.

Case West is aight, I just didn't like the setting.

I'm worried the west coast team won't have anywhere near as much video content as they used to, and it would disappointment me to no end if Hitman makes up most of what little content there would be.

It's a fun game and I enjoy playing it, I do not enjoy watching someone else play though.

Space Trucker uses lots of stolen assets from games like Doom, Blood, Duke 3D, and all the character sprites are actually just Tek War (which is funny when Jeff said they reminded him of it)

It also uses assets from Doom modders without permission.

The game should've been taken down from Steam long ago for infringement, but Steam gonna Steam.
