Spent a dollar too. Really thought I'd finish it in a month, easily. The game had a strong start but within 5-10 hours I realized this wasn't a game for me (still feels like 8-/10 game but has small and restricted game world, towns full of non-interatice NPCs, very similar hubs and the inventory management feels totally useless). Still I played it for a week and I think I got 1/3 though. Uninstalled after my PC Game Pass ended and I'm pretty confident I'm done with the game.

On the other hand I really love(d) Death Stranding and have spent 120h in the game ;D

Straight fire? More like a dumpster fire with black smog. I feel you've "ruined" my favourite web site (and basically my home page) and I can't think of a reason why I would be okay or positive about it.

If you don't have the resources to update several web sites, maybe you shouldn't have done GiantBomb.com a giant disservice, and let it just be as it was (finally after years and years of small bugfixes and when the site was running up without any major hassles).

I'm sure users will eventually make scripts to make GB look and feel like it used to. I will not comment on individual problems, since most of them have been pointed out by forum users before. There is not a SINGLE thing I can think of that I like better now than before, and I'm seriously slightly feeling like a madman (old man?) when people are praising all the changes which make me feel nauseous.

I would really like to hear Jeff's opinion about what has happened to GB? I feel the website has lost its identity and is now just another generic gaming website (or even worse, a web portal that collects gaming related links).

All I can think of is that they are renaming this site to Videogames.com and there you have it.... a video game portal for all your generic video gaming needs.

Yeah, controls are bad. There's FPS controls for the first-person view. I'm trying to get reacquainted with the new controls after using the default scheme for hours.

Also the performance of this game on a PS4 Pro is ridiculously bad, I should have probably picked it up on X, but once again I believed when people said that the slowdowns didn't bother them. The whole damn game is a slow down, and does not look good in motion and the HDR is a joke. How this game got 100/100 from so many reviewers, is another joke.

I was in love with this game for the first 8 hours, now I'm getting GTA flashbacks with Retry mission stuff, and just the graphic performance is... abysmal. I'd rather the game "looked worse" and ran at a steadier frame rate. I guess as long as I'm not doing the missions, I'll still have fun with the game.

[Edit: I've moved from playing in FPS mode to only using FPS only every now and then, and the performance and the experience is much better.

(I played GTA single player fully in FPS mode so I was hoping I was able to do the same here, but that was on a high-end PC, so I guess I should have known what I was in for...) ]
