@carpe_dmt: Never stop making games. Never stop making games. Never stop. Making games. Never stop. Making. Games. Never. Stop. Making. Games. Never. Stop. Making. Games.

Can't wait.

Also, if any artists are happy to throw some art at a Designer, Developer and Sound guy (that's-a-me, Mario!) then please do. I'll be keeping an eye on the team sheets and perhaps asking for quick cheeky art contributions (because my art SUUUUUUUUUUCKS).

Alright then, let's make a bloody video game.

Also, the Switch desperately needs to 1-2 Switch and Zelda to be a pack in with each console. I considered actually buying one when I saw OP's post.

@ntm: Couldn't agree more. That game had so much charm it was shocking to not see on a Nintendo platform. I hope the new one lives up to the styyyyyle of the first.

Hey duders, I was wondering if any of you had a chance to check out the new Nine Inch Nails EP 'Not The Actual Events'?

I've been listening to it a lot for the last 24 hours and it's really grown on me. Like with most early NIN, at first you are confronted with a wall of noise that seems impenetrable, but after a while, your ears pick out the layers and melodies and you start to hear and appreciate the song.

It feels like a classic industrial EP but with all the Reznor and Ross flair from the HTDA stuff. I can't imagine any of the tracks being performed live, which intrigues me as to whether they would be.

Anyway, I know some of you must be NIN fans, so what do you guys think? Are there any non-NIN fans who would like to weigh in their opinions?

That's a whole lot of video game right there for someone who sounds like he isn't that into video games (I mean, it sounds like he has skipped out on some of the best games over the past 5 years, and they were all released on console) If his interest is just getting to complete these games, I would suggest he start with Batman: Arkham Asylum (easily the most concise (*cough*andbest*cough*) game there) and perhaps doing coop with him in Saints Row the Third. I would use Burnout Paradise as a pallet cleanser, playing that when he doesn't fancy playing anything in particular as it's just a great game just to have no real aim or objective with.

As great as Mass Effect 1 & 2 and the Ezio games are, I have to wonder if he is really going to get through these. They are each huge games that suck up a lot of time and attention. It's fine when these games are played years apart, but back to back? Anyway, I would recommend he go in order of release (so Mass Effect, Assassins Creed 2, Mass Effect 2, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood) with the advice that as soon as he get's bored, he moves onto the next game and come back to it later, or play Burnout Paradise. As for Arkham City, that'll depend on how he got on with Arkham Asylum, If he loved AA, then he should play AC right away. If he's not fussed, that can probably go to the back.
