@asilentprotagonist: Yep. I'm looking forward to Mad Max, but I've been waiting for MGSV for 7 fucking years. Sorry Mad Max, but you're going to be a game I obtain way later on sale.
I don't care that Taker is too old. I don't care that it completely kills the momentum of a pretty decent Lesnar/Rollins story. I don't care that Taker struggled to deliver those tombstones. I don't care. When I hear that church bell ring I mark out like a fucking 12 year old again.
@contradictionvg: Just wanted to say that I absolutely love the game, and I have no affinity for FMV games because I didn't grow up playing them. There's a certain charm to your game that I haven't seen in any video game before. It's brought me joy only nintendo games have brought me before.
I'm going to hold off a bit to see if Windows 10 launches and breaks everything or something, but if all is running smooth after a few weeks I'm definitely going to install it.
Tonight's episode is the first episode this season that I've truly enjoyed. It's still not up to the standard of last season, but Farrell's performance is top notch. Considering the last two episodes were directed by Justin Lin and this episode wasn't, I think it's safe to say that his direction was not right for this series at all. I was considering dropping this season, but this episode convinced me to stay on even though I don't think it's as good as the first.
I fucking loved the use of Joker in the game. The Joker is my favourite villain of all time in any medium, and his use in this game perfectly exemplifies the relationship between him and Batman. If you're heavily invested in the story of Batman and Joker the use of him in this game is amazing. I was very pleased with it, especially the ending sequence when Batman finally triumphs over the Joker in his mind. Fantastic, fantastic stuff.
I actually liked the batmobile a lot too. At first driving it was a fucking nightmare, but I eventually got used to it and started using it to get almost everywhere instead of gliding. The tank stuff i liked from the beginning, as it was a nice addition to the gameplay that added variety, but towards the end it was a bit overused. I'm especially disappointed with Deathstroke, since that fight ended up being nothing but a reskin of the Arkham Knight fight, and Deathstroke deserves a hell of a lot better than that.
