Back when it was the Arrow Pointing Down podcast. Like 2007 or something, Ryan and Jeff did it alone. They even read my question in one of those shows haha. GB didn't quite exist yet but it was close. Have been listening as much as I can ever since.

It's absolutely strange, you nailed it. I loved Ryan just like everyone else and have spent so much time w/ him on a casual level through the podcast and site that it certainly feels like I knew him well. He wasn't acting, wasn't putting on a show, he was being himself and it felt like I knew him like a good friend. At the same time there's very few real life people I can grieve w/, and of course Ryan did not know me.

It just goes to show what a personable, funny, and overall lovable guy he was. Gifted writer too, that goes unnoticed sometimes I think. Many, many people will miss him dearly, and it's so hard to comprehend right now, but I'm way more affected by this than I would have expected. Glad to see the support coming in waves, he deserves it. Great guy

My roommate loves this show, I really don't like it at all...I don't know if there's another show on TV I don't get as much as Big Bang Theory. It's supposed to have nerd humor, but really it's just riffing on nerd stereotypes...like Star Trek, WoW, really? Add the rest of the sitcom bullshit and you have a show I won't watch.

I'm also about 6'3''...so I'd say that 6'1'' up is probably considered tall by most. I'd consider 6'5'' tall personally....I hate when people are taller than me for some reason and so whenever someone actually is, I consider them tall haha. Short for me is anyone below 6'...really short is 5'6", and freakishly tall is Shawn Bradley and Yao Ming as already posted.

I thought it was an excellent year. Argo, Lincoln, Skyfall, Zero Dark Thirty, Looper, Django, Life of Pi, Silver Linings Playbook, etc, and those all came out at the end of the year. The two you mentioned, Dark knight and Hobbit, IMO were some of the more disappointing movies of the year. So I guess we disagree haha
