I have launch model XBox One and PS4, I skipped the One X/PS4 Pro revisions. So, it's time: I want a Series X or PS5, but I clearly have no chance of getting one for a good long while. I will sometimes randomly pull up retailer websites or Gamespot's tracker page just in case I get lucky (I never do), but I refuse to go so far as to pay a scalper or start running a purchasing bot or whatever. When I can walk into a store and buy one off the shelf I will definitely do it, but at this point I guess that's sometime next year. Maybe I should just wait until the next revision. Well, I still have a huge backlog for the hardware I already have, so I'll get by until then just fine.
My premium membership subscription tried to renew yesterday at $50, even though there's currently a sale for it at $35. Fortunately, my credit card had expired so it wasn't able to renew at that price. I updated my credit card information but when I go to click on the link at the top of the home page to extend my membership at the sale price, I still see only the regular price on the membership page.
Those menus that drop down automatically as soon as my mouse happens to roll over them while I'm trying to drag it somewhere else are really annoying to me as well. I have definitely had it happen in the past that I see a link, push my mouse over and click in that spot, but wind up somewhere else because something I happened to roll over flew up to the front between the time that I saw what I wanted and told my finger to click. It's very annoying. You are not alone.
I used to like Steam a lot but since their re-design it's hard to pick out anything I would like any more. I think I signed up to follow Giant Bomb on there but I'm not sure and I can't be arsed to figure out how to navigate that store any more. I have a full time job and a lot of friends and that takes up most of my time now, I don't have time to figure out how to buy things from Steam again when I already have a backlog of over 400 games. I mostly just focus on playing the games I already own now.
