JAN - FEB 2024
Coming back for Season of the Wish and The Final Shape. After that I'm done. I think this game peaked with Season of the Seraph. Hopefully The Final Shape brings an entertaining campaign, but I'm not buying the season pass again.
Update: Season of the Wish didn't really do it for me. Dropping this game for now.

Coming back for Dawntrail and trying to catch up on the MSQ since my break (around 6.1). My hype for the new expansion is through the roof after the TFF keynote.
Update: I've gotten distracted with other games, but I will return.

Playing through this game again ahead of the Part 2 remaster. It holds up as one of the best games of the PS3 generation.

I'm a fan of the first game, but I waited until the second was out of early access and on sale. This is a much better rogue-like that doesn't depend on recruiting new characters to fill your roster constantly. Now you gain a currency from completing runs that can be spent on permanent upgrades. It's made the game much more fun to play in the long run.

This holds up as one of the best stealth action games ever made. Disagreements about the story aside (IMO a challenging direction to take), the gameplay is what shines here. This remaster adds a horde mode called No Return that is fun and addictive, and adds some choice into which levels to tackle, upgrades to make, and types of characters to use. I spent a lot of time trying out all of the different level types, and had a lot of fun. Naughty Dog is a very talented studio, and I'm interested in whatever they make next.

Watching the DLC trailer got my engine going to play through this again. 120 hours later, and I'm fully prepared to stomp the Shadow Lands.

I started this up at the end of February, then got distracted with Elden Ring. I'm planning on finishing it some time in April.
