I can confirm, from personal experience. 
War, never changes.

Look into Thrillers or Psycological Horror films. 
Like Paranormal Activity, The Ring, What Lies Beneath, Stigmata, The Haunting and the American Haunting are ones that come to mind. 
 
Most of them have probably been mentioned, I could probably remember a few more as I've been struck down with the whole no gore thing by people before. 
WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T WATCH CARRIERS. 
It's pretty bad.

It's a nice idea and all but just no. 
You've been here like 5 minutes and you're trying to change things, the site has done well for this long without this. 
I don't want to come across harsh, it's just silly.
