5/5 - I can't stress enough what a match-made-in-heaven kind of game this is for me. I absolutely adore rhythm games, and mashing that up with an extremely solid character action game is all I ever wanted. All of the music and soundtrack are right up my alley too. On top of that, the animation and art style were simply top notch throughout the entire game. Hi-Fi Rush was simply a joy to play, and I loved every second of it.

4/5 -With Pikmin 4 coming out this year, I wanted to make sure I got a chance to play Pikmin 3, especially now that it was re-released on the Switch. This game was just a joyous fun time, even if the last boss fight did get a bit stressful at the end.

4/5 - The polish and money that went into this game are immediately apparent. This is a triple A game through and through, with solid combat gameplay punctured by incredible set piece moments. That all being said, it really is an extension and continuation of the core foundations laid by the previous game. This game is also really long. Like maybe a little too long, and I think the game overstays its welcome a bit by the end.

4/5 - Norco is a game that elicited a lot of different emotions from me. There are so many different things going on (cults, spaceships, Garretts!), but the core themes of death, grief, and family were so poignant, especially when entrenched in a city and setting that you don't often see in games. Having such a strong sense of place was one of its most defining aspects.

    - This game felt more like a Kaiju battle simulator at times

    - Although fighting as Kaiju is cool, the beauty of Bayonetta 3 to me was the agility and grace that Bayonetta provides. That is literally why Witch Time is cool, because Witch Times gives you the ability to move fast in a slow world

    - Playing as a Kaiju is just so bumbling and slow, and provided not a lot of satisfaction for me

    - You get new Kaiju and new weapons basically every mission, so it's hard to get to used to one and get good at one, since you're always getting new stuff so quickly

    - I wished the cadence of doling out new wepaons and powers were a bit more spread out

    - But I liked how the Kaiju were integrated into Bayonetta's regular combos though

    - Also, it felt like half of the gameplay was those trials, and those were not fun

    - A LOT of cutscenes, like dude!

2/5 - The co-op design of this game is downright terrible.
