I remember a game being on the NES or SNES don't know what year it was in the 90s, I only had the Japanese version(it may have been japanese exclusive) it was a sidescroller in which you controlled a boy with a sword(it may have been a stick) and I think he had a large head you could use the sword to wall jump, he would also bounce vertically on the sword like a pogo stick and I think the game had a water level and while underwater you couldn't attack (but I may be wrong about this), for me it looked amazing and it was really fun to play. The walljump was kind of fun cause you would jump press the attack button(I think) while facing the wall he would put the tip of the sword against the wall and screech down the wall and when you released the attack button he would jump in a cool animation. I know it wasn't a hard game cause I finished it multiple times.

I played it when i was younger but i can't remember the name....

    (RTS)

    Here's what i remember:

there were two factions: aliens and humans

i remember that the humans had

-like a trooper or something (infantry),

-a two legged robot (like an AT-ST),

    -a tank (i think),

-and i remember a cyborg (which had a cigarette in his mouth...)

and for the aliens there were also some infantry, and i remember a weird creature that had like two huge kinfes growing out of his shoulders or something...

and i also remember that the main base you could only upgrade it so you can train ppl( like the infantry, cyborg...) you couldn't build like the barracks in another place...just upgrade your HQ

I would really appreciate if someone could reply

OK so this one's a bit of a weird one.

I remember playing it on the DS (more specifically a DS Phat so it would've been sometime 2005/06)

Whenever I think of it, I immediately think of Earthbound/Mother which makes no sense because I've never played those games, and neither have they been on the DS

I think, however, the style of the game was quite similar. You were a small boy, travelling around a world, top down. I remember being in a metal ship before leaving to a island-style area afterwards.

I think it was an RPG but I don't really remember an 'in depth' battle system

I remember collecting crystals...or something like that for a professor

Aaaand that's about it. I will be equal amounts impressed and grateful if you guys can get this :)

My friend is trying to remember a game. It was a RTS on windows 95. The demo played mostly on a red planet. The army you controlled was also red-like (Probably). There were mechs and people riding dinosaurs shooting lasers. Otherwise it was mostly a standard rts ->build base -> get resources -> kill everything.

Okay, how about this one: it was a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure it was a PS1 RPG game. You start out as a kid who finds this small pink creature, but in befriending it, pretty much your entire village becomes afraid of the both of you, forcing you to leave. I didn't get that far into it, so I can't remember what happens beyond the beginning...but I do remember that the little creature evolved and changed into a variety of forms depending on how you raised it.

I cant remember the title of a game that came out on pc maby dos, around 1993-97 guessing.

Parts that i remember you play as a boy stuck in a jungle harbour setting because you loose your father. You find a passport so you can use a boat.

later on you become stuck in quicksand then use a vine/rope and lasso around a pig which pulls you to safety.

It is a click and point adventure game. I will be amazed if someone can guess it from that

Okay, so my cousin had this game for the Sega Genesis, and it was a really shitty side scroller. It looked like a cross between Fist of the North Star and some kind of Roman gladiator motif, if I remember correctly. The jumping was very bad and slow, as well as slow movement from left to right. Your enemies had a huge advantage over you, again if I remember this correctly. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of it, but for some reason I really want to play it and see if it was just my feeble child's mind that couldn't play the game right, or if it was indeed as shitty as I remember. Oh, and it was purely punching, as far as I can remember. May have been kicking too, but I honestly couldn't say.

Here is my question / game I can't remember:

It was an arcade game back in the 80's. The game was side scroll with melee and ranged combat featuring a Wizard in a green robe and some other characters I can't remember - but I'm sure there was a warrior type and at least one other, possibly a healer. As my memory recalls it, I remember being amazed by the 2D graphics at the time.

Here is what I remember about the game.

I'm playing as the Wizard in the green robe. He has a wooden cain or staff, I think it's brown and is round / bulbus at the end - and when I attack, a fireball is lauched from it. I don't recall if I had unlimited shots, or if I only had a few and when I ran out I had to fight directly with the staff. Ithink I remember trying to get further in the game by saving my fireball attacks until the enemies got harder, so I think I did have a limited number of shots.

I'm traversing a cave and there are pits to fall in - and I distinctly remember there being green blobs that hang from the ceiling which fall down when I get close. I then have to back away and kill them or something, or maybe timing my strikes - I remember having some kind of strategy for dealing with them as they were annoying. I remember the game being hard and never being able to get far but wanting to. I think there may have been a timer / countdown somewhere on the screen, something with numbers. I also think I recall there being some kind of basic inventory. the game was not a one hit wonder as far as I can remember. I had health, but I think it was pretty much just 3 hits and your dead.

I remember there being other enemies further into the cave, possibly snakes, hydras or something with various tentacles or limbs. Would not be an octopus but perhaps a multi-headed monster or maybe just some spiders, may have been a Medusa type enemy. Not sure.

The crazy thing is that I strangly recall this game having level ups, like an RPG with experience points. Which would explain other things like having an inventory - or the fact that I played as a wizard. But I feel like that's kind of odd for an side scroll game - much less an arcade one. And for the life of me I can't ever remember any other arcade RPGs, can you? I mean I remember the capcom D&D games but those were different than this game. But somehow I think one of thing things I liked about the game was how novel it was. You know, unique. So maybe it WAS an arcade side scroll rpg - which sure as hell sounds novel for the 80's. Why would anyone make an arcade side scroll RPG? I don't know, and I'm not sure I'm even remembering the game correctly.

In fact, I'm not sure if I'm hurting my chances of somebody being able to help me remember this game by suggesting that it might have been an arcade RPG because that seems odd to me that it would be. It might have just been a side scroll game like Shinobi but with a Wizard who shoots fireballs instead of ninja stars.

My memories of this game are so vague, I'm not sure it's possible to figure it out based on the above description. If it helps, I remembered that I forgot this game about 15 years ago when I was trying to remember another game that I used to play at the arcade during the same period. But I ended up remembering the name to that game, it was called Violence Fight and featured a dude in blue jeans who had an attack called a star dust punch that looked awesome. Anyway, this Wizard game was around during the same time if that helps anyone figure it out. I gave up hope trying to remember Violence fight long before I ended up remembering it, and have since given up on remembering this wizard game.

If somebody knows what game I'm talking about, that would be simply awesome.

    Uh here is mine.

I think Its a Sega Genesis / Megadrive game.

It was a top down shooter, or at least an angled viewpoint from above. I remember there being a bunch of different characters who had different kinds of projectiles they could fire. I think the levels were relatively enclosed and there may have been some blocks that were destructable. It may have also had a puzzle element.

Edit - It isn't chaos engine / alien breed.

Trying to remember an FPS set I think in the early to middle 1900's. You play as someone who has been sent (I think) to an island to investigate some strange things going on.
the thing I remember most about the game was that you would occasionally trigger movies that played out against the background of the game, which were supposed to be ghosts.

The main setting was in and around a mansion.

Some of the enemies were red eyed dogs, and for some reason ghost maids.

Hey I'm thinking of a game:

It's

3D polygonal, it's a side-scrolling shooter, and the camera perspective

pans around a lot. There's often points where you have to fend off

anime-missiles from behind or infront by painting targets on them.
It's not a bullet-hell shooter. It tries to do a lot of unique things with the genre, that's why I'm looking it up.

It's got an awkward name that's not a regular english word.

Defining "anime-missiles": blue sky, white lines of smoke that curve around a lot.
It'd

cut away from the shoot-em-up for a sec to show this Ace-Combat-like

target-painting section where you shot down missiles. It was all very

    fast.

I'm trying to remember 2 games. Both were old 2d games with simple graphics.

The first game was an action game. The protagonist was a guy with gray hair. I think he had a mustache. He basically had to shoot monsters and move forward. I mostly remember the first level. The first level monsters were these pink little creatures with round eyes and there was this huge building and you had to go up the building levels. That's almost all I remember. Oh and my sister says when you died you became some kind of a skull but I don't remember that.

The second game you played this boy who basically had to jump over everything. I don't think he had any weapons or any way of defending himself. I remember that most of the game was pretty red. Like the background and the boy himself were red. And I think the boy had some kind of stick which he could use to jump really high.

Im trying to find a old PC game that was about the seven deadly sins but it was futuristic. You had to inspect a place and look for clues. Only other thing I remember from it was a color changing head would follow you sometimes and the intro song. It when something like this" I had a dream I was lost in a Dream work......Something...Butt naked scrooge in a christmas carol. Weird but thats all I remember.

Hello !!

So I'm looking for a 3D ,90's I think, point and click game that I played when I was child, but it was not mine so I completely forget the name. I only remember the first part of the game because I never reached the next part. So that was a first person game where I was a boy on a big house and I had to find christmas deer to recreate Santa's Sleigh, and in this house there was gnomes or dwarfs on the cave. I remembee that the ambiance was very glaucous.

And I just remember the beggining of the next part that my sister reached, after the escape with the sleigh, the boy crashed on a jungle with monkeys.

Any ideas ? I want to finish that game !!

Thank you !

I have two.

1) A PC game, from the early 90's. It's space exploration. You get a ship with a whole bunch of crew members. You fly to different star systems, find planets with resources or missions, and choose a crew to beam down. The gameplay is top-down turn-based strategy. Get attacked by things that kinda look like genestealers, find equipment, bring it back to the ship. If you lose a crew member, it's permadeath.

2) Super Nintendo racing game. The ships are all spacecraft hovering on a track. You have a primary and secondary weapon for each, and earn money in the races to purchase new ships, possibly upgrade your weapons?

There's a game I used to play, highly unsure when it came out. It was an old pc game, presumably for windows xp or 94. It was a Mario like game, with an small overworld to select your place, power ups, and the like. It was a platformer, obviously, and I believe the character's name was Bill? I'm not sure. If you got the hammer power up, however, he did get a construction hat.

I played this game only once a really long time ago so there's not much I remember about it anymore but I'll try my best. It was an old Windows game that seems like it could have been made between the 90's or very early 2000's. It was a game for all ages and may have been an educational one. It was a sci-fi genre game and I think you were on a spaceship for most of the game. If memory serves me well, it also had 3D graphics. There was a feature where you could create your own player character and adjust their face, body type, etc., like in old versions of Create-a-Sim. I remember that the character you played as was a type of alien, and that their skin was blue, either as their default skin color or part of a feature where you could change the skin's hue. One thing I remember standing out to me is that the background during the character creation was a solid black.

If any of this sounds familiar, please reply with some title(s) or, better yet, some screencaps!

Okay I'm going straight off with this i don't remember much of the game this is all i can remember off the top of my head

-survival zombie game

-pixel

-pc

-create your character

(Add traits to help make your character weaker and stronger depending on the situation,ex. Overweight, heavy drinker, underweight, biologist')

-the game starts off with a black screen with simple white text saying "this is the story of how you die"

-really unique create your character screen where negative affects like lightweight (isn't good at staying sober after drinking) would give you points and you could put them into things that would benefit you like natural learner (faster at leveling up your skills)

-had a fear system

-played in a perspective far from the actuall character

-could build/ fortify already built houses

-three-two game modes one with other survivors you can help or last man\woman on earth situation and campaign (really just a tutorial)

-possibly also an online game

And thats it i honestly can't give any idea of when the game came out

I'm trying to find a game I played as a kid back in the mid to late 80's. I don't remember the name of it but it was for the Amiga. I rented it at the time and I loved it. It was a side scrolling sci-fi game set on a space ship much like aliens. I don't think it was an action game. From what I remember it was more of a adventure game where you had to find clues, but there were also some action elements. If anyone out there can think of the name of this game I would be greatfull. Thanks!

It was an old PC/ CD-Rom game. I don't remember much of it since I was a kid but in the game you were a kid and there were monsters and weird creatures around and it was like a point-and-click style type puzzle game where you solve puzzles. You had to be careful though because doing things wrong would end up getting you killed, even by the smallest things like you could even get torn apart by a dog.

@James136: The game you are looking for is called Project Zomboid, one thing to take into consideration is that it might look different because the devs decided to migrate to another engine to devevlop the game.

So my game, I remember playing it as a kid on an old widows PC.

Genre: Action, platformer, puzzler.

Graphics: Retro, 2D, probably sprites.

Setting: Destroyed appartment compound, Construction site, Lab.

Description: You play as a man with a gun and you start on the street level there are mutants everywhere (some are like pink small blobs that jump arround, there are green one that look antropomorphic and have like an orange mohawk if i recall correctly and the final boss is the scientist that caused it all and injects himself with a syringe to become a big ass mutant wolf/dog), you supposedly mission is find what caused the disaster and you go arroud collecting amo, grenades and cards to open locked areas that some times have survivors. You need to find the things in the right order to open the door for the next level. The last thing I remember is a clip that appeard when you defeated the las boss, it showed the protaonist flying a jet and nuking the city.

It's from the mid to late 90s for Windows PCs and had 3D graphics. You played a spaceship and your goal was to defend the earth from alien spaceships and asteroids. The earth was in the center of the screen and you were only able to rotate your ship around the earth with the left/right arrow key. The scales were very odd, your spaceship was about half the size of the earth.

Asteroids appeared on the screen and you had to shoot them with your laser weapons. There were also power ups which could upgrade your weapons. If the asteroids would hit the earth, huge chunks of the earth would fall apart and after a few asteroid hits the game would be over.

The more damage a alien spaceship took, the more it went into a spin and could hardly hit you anymore.

The level was over once you've destroyed all asteroids and all aliens. Enemies which you missed and passed earth, would re-appear after some time on the other side of the screen.

In later levels there were also alien spaceships which couldn't destroy the earth, but they could destroy your ship with their laser weapons.

I played a Shareware version. Maybe you could find the full version somewhere.

So there is this PC Game its not really that old maybe created in like 2014 give or take, but it was one of those hidden images games but you got to cook in it, whatever you found you got to create a dish you could travel the world and buy out places which all have themes, and those themes were related to the items you had to find for recipes. Also when you bought the places you had to fix them as well from the money you made by selling the dishes you created. Any idea what this could've been? Thanks in advance!!!

A 2D Shooter game that used to be on Friv

Platform: PC (found on Friv.com)
Genre: 2D Shooter

Graphics/Artstyle: 2D

Notable Characters: I think it was a character with anthropomorphic qualities in a futuristic suit and a sidekick that constantly breaks the fourth wall by giving you instructions. You aimed with your mouse and used a w s d to move. You also had diffrent game modes and guns.

Notable Gameplay Mechanics: Nothing really, just an average 2d Shooter.

Here goes nothing. Does anyone remember the name of a game where you were robots. Where you could play as different ones. One could steal money, antoher one was a flying police ball with which you could scan other characters. The intro movie was a robot who was drowning or murdered in a golden bath. You could also fly in the world with a ship and shoot other ships down. There was also a tiny jumping robot.

I have been searching for this game for so long, here is to hoping anyone still reads this!

Hi, I have been looking crazy for this game I played somewhere between 2005-2012. I don't remember much from the game really I just know I want to play it again. It was a puzzle like game with a story/adventure view on the game. U had many different levels. I think the main character or something was a plush ball. U had to like move around tiles or something (not sure) it was a very colorful game, that I do remember. I used to play it on my grandmas computer, it had to be installed via a cd though. The game had cartoon -ish graphics like smoothened blocks etc.. I don't really remember anything else from it :( Please can someone help me with this one!

There was an old PC space sim in the early 2000's where you had to fly a detatched command module through an old space war field and salvage a ship body in the wreckage. You find one and find out that the ships computer had formed it's A.I. after the former captain of the ship. Realistic space physics. Lots of ship classes. Very Hard.

I'm trying to remember a game I played where you were this little creature that kinda looked like a frog monster and you moved around on a grid and as you moved it would fill in the board with color and you weren't allowed to retrace your steps I think, but there was a purple monster guy that would show up eventually that you were trying to avoid. I was so young I could be making up some details, but I'm pretty sure it was a game from the 80s maybe 90s, and it was a computer game. I wish I could draw cause I remember very clearly what the two creatures looked like.

Hi. I am currently remembering this game I played like almost a decade ago I think on either PS2 Or PS3

It was a series of levels involving stealth with guns with respawning.
This might not help but I remember this one lady always screaming "AGENT DOWN AGENT DOWN" or something like that (I died alot so that is why).

Oh and I think the first level was in a city.

This will definitely narrow it down for those who know it: There was these co-op actions that would basically boost players to places you can't get to. I think those were if you had another friend with you who was also playing.

If you manage to get it you are Akinator.

there's this pc game that i remembered playing on windows xp, a click and point problem solving/puzzle game with cool, 2d fantasy art. all i remembered from this game is you need to brew some type of liquid from the existing liquids to solve that room's puzzle. and speaking of rooms, there are several rooms you need to solve, in order to reach the end and that's it. sorry if it's vague, because it's been years, and i think it's released mid 2000's or late, because i remembered only playing it on some relative's computer.

I'm looking for a funny fmv game that doesn't take itself seriously, it came out after 2010 I think and it has the name of the villain in the title, you're going through a building trying to arrest the millionaire in charge of the business who's comically evil, his name might have been money related?

I can't remember really anything else, just saw maybe 1min of gameplay 20 years ago...

hai, so there’s this one game i remember playing back when i was 8-9 or 10 (i’m now 16) on my moms phone and it was like this 3D based modeling game where you dress up the female character in any way you want (specifically uh in a provocative way) and like you could have her model for you in different poses and change the scenery i believe and even get as close to her as you want i believe and even style her hair and what not, i think it might’ve been made by some asian company? based on the style and graphics and how her face looked? (i was using an android i believe) (and i downloaded it from the old appstore) but yeah, if anyone sees this i was wondering if you could help me find it? somewhere? anything helps tbh :p bye now ig

Hi,

I'm looking for one of my childhood game, with below description based what I can remember:

  • NES game
  • I played it around 1980s - 1990s (born on 1981)
  • It's a platformer game
  • the player can throw weapon something like Axe
  • One of the stage is like at heaven, the floors are cloud
  • One of the boss, maybe final boss, is jesus

I've tried googling, copilot, chatgpt, couldn't found the game name.

I hope anyone can help here.

Hello guys, there's an old game that it's impossible to find for me. I used to play it on an old IBM ps2 PC. It was a 2d adventure side scrolling game. The story is that you get somehow ported in a prehistoric era with dinosaurs on the background. You've got to collect, for example petroleum with a broken eggshell stolen from a dinosaur. I remember the perculiar jumps you can make, like long jumps or "rotating tuck jumps" (It's not Flashback: The Quest for Identity). It's all I can remember and it's drilling my head now :D

Thank you for your help!

I am not sure how active this forum is but I need some help remembering a game I really want to get my hands on.

I played this game back in elementary school and well I am done with high school now. I know I am kind of on the old side to be wanting this game, but I really enjoyed this game so much and it hurts not remembering what the name is.

anyway what I remember is:

Its a pc game

its a point and click kind of story game, like Arthur's Birthday game that I use to play when I was younger

It has this like aqua color alien that lives with this girl and her parents

The alien is full of mischief and causes problems for the girl

And I believe some of the game involves the girl's birthday

So yeah if anyone can help me know what this game is, I really truly appreciate it.

I tried google and Akinator, no luck. And all I want to do is remember what this game was.

There was this game in the late 90s, which, on the first level the character would go through some icy rocks and cave like environment and fight wolves by kicking them. If we walk towards a wall, a voice said "no way!". It was one of those early 3d games like original Resident Evil. If anyone knows the name of this game please tell me. I've been searching for it my whole adult life

I'm trying to remember a rhythm racing game from 1999 and it featured the song "Take on Me" by A-ha and I want to say it was called Beats but I cannot find anything about it anywhere.
