This might be the 1st time I disagree about a hot game take from Jeff.
I was curious about game to cutscenes in the MGS series and I decided to take cutscene movies times from youtube and subtracted those from howlongtobeat times and got:
MGS1 - 7.5 hours game, 4 hours cutscenes
MGS2 - 7.5 hours game, 5 hours cutscenes
MGS3 - 11.5 hours game, 4.5 hours cutscenes
MGS4 - 10.5 hours game, 8 hours cutscenes
I decided to look up another popular cutscene game series Uncharted:
Uncharted 1 - 6 hours game, 2 hours cutscenes
Uncharted 2 - 7 hours game, 3.5 hours cutscenes
Uncharted 3 - 6 hours game, 3 hours cutscenes
Uncharted 4 - 8.5 hours game, 6.5 hours cutscenes
I personally don't mind if 1/3 of the game is cutscenes. MGS4 pushed it a big far though imo.
Unreal Championship is a really odd one for me. I have always been a huge Unreal Tournament fan and UT2004 is one of my favorite shooters ever. So at some point after UC2 came out I purchased a copy when I didn't even own an Xbox. However a friend of mine did, but the only time I could play it on his Xbox was at his house, cause his family used it as a DVD and media player. So I really didn't get to play it much at all. No idea how much I paid for it, but thinking back now it was crazy.
Scrambled egg spoon user here. Maybe I am bad at making scrambled eggs, but most of it is in too small of pieces to get with a fork. If you can't finish your food with a fork, then it's a job for the spoon.
I don't think you have to watch OG Gundam to get Gundam. There is so much out there and they are there own stories. To me some Gundam is visually very hard to watch. My recommendation would be both seasons of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 that ran from 2007-09.
