I bought this wheel a few years ago as it was one of the more cheaper options and I was looking for an excuse to spend more time with American Truck Sim. For the most part, it has served me well and I've bundled it with a TrackIR for that full setup. During the steam sale this year I decided to load up on truck sim dlc I had yet acquired as well F1 2020. I've played 2018 a bit when I got a free code and it was probably the most sublime experience I had with my racing wheel and TrackIR setup. However, Thrustmaster had other ideas for me. Apparently ever since Windows 10 update 2004, plugging in my racing wheel basically crashes my computer. My initial google searches lead me to believe my power supply was having issues. Even though my power supply is old, I dont have any other issues with it. Also, I was playing Squadrons with a HOTAS and TrackIR with no issues. Not 100% sold on that, I searched some more and found a thread specifically taking about the racing wheel I own having extreme driver issues on windows 10 2004 and up. And also that both are aware of the issue and dont seem to be interested at finding a fix.

You fucked me, Thrustmaster. I guess the Italia 458 (a 360 accessory) is just too old to give a damn about anymore. And now I'm confronted with the idea of having to buy another racing wheel...Granted the 458 was pretty basic. No force feedback, only had paddle shifters, and no clutch peddle. But holy shit are prices for racing wheels RIDICULOUS right now. We're talking $250-400 and I just don't know...I'm still kind of baffled the one I already own is basically just a doorstop now. Of course the age old argument is: you shouldn't buy a racing wheel. But I did. And now that I know what I'm missing I really don't know if I want to go back to playing games like ATS or especially Formula 1 with a controller....but I super don't wanna spend $400 either.

@tartyron: interesting. I just started human revolution after beating Cyberpunk. Oddly, it feels like such a breath of fresh air in comparison. Exploring different paths based on your character development feels so much more tangible in deus ex. Also the side quests are way more meaningful than cyberpunks.
