In Norway there is no general minimum wage laws, but som professions do have them:
Construction 126 NOK ($14)
Maritime 162 NOK ($18)
Agriculture 123 NOK (on short term contracts) ($13)
Cleaning 187 NOK ($21)
Fishing: (it's complicated) 183 NOK ($20)
Electricians: 189 NOK ($21)
Gods transport 175 NOK ($19)
Passenger transport 158 NOK ($17)
Hotel, restaurant and catering: (it's complicated) 16-years old get 110 ($12). 17-years old gets 119 ($13) .and 18-years old get 134 ($15)
Edit: If you make less then $20 per hour, the pay is 100% trash
Edit 2: The reason why these professions have minimum vage laws has to do with hige amount of seasonal, migrant, and low skilled work. unions stand strong in Norway despite som forces in the current government. (maybe they see what is happening in France.
