One of the biggest misconceptions of EVE is that you need to spend a ton of time to be effective. The most successful alliances in EVE are built out of brand new players. New players should focus on strength in numbers and easy to fly ships like rifters. You can easily hit well above your weight class through sheer numbers. A couple of rifters can band together and take down cruisers and battlecruisers. A rifter takes hours at most to train to fly and is widely considered to be one of the best PVP ships in the game. Dedicating a couple of million isk to a full hangar of rifters could provide you with plenty of PVP action.

Much like the DayZ video it would just turn into people watching the stream and instantly killing them. While this can be a little funny, it makes for a pretty brad video.
