We caught a mouse in our house by getting a big trashcan and putting food on a ruler, well he went for the food in fell in. So we threw him down the street. He came back so we got a electric mouse trap after 2 days of unsuccessful trapping. He went in the trap, and I awoke to a Buzzing sound, and the trap was just constantly frying the mouse and it smelled like The Green Mile.
Uh this might sound weird but I had this problem a really long time ago, apparently there is a bug with a Linksys WRT54G router, just update there firmware and steam is working. Thats of course assuming you have a WRT54G router. You might also consider updating your routers firmware if you don't have that one.
Your going to want to get a Sager NP8662 it starts at 1300 but its awesome laptop at stock. http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8662-built-clevo-m860tu-custom-gaming-laptop-p-2564.html These laptops come with a GTX 260M which would fit perfect and play many of the latest games, even will run crysis if you need it too. That website too is legit, you don't have to buy well known named brand stuff to get good quality like Dell or HP. Those Sagers are the pimp status. You won't have to pay taxes too with those guys which is another 100-200 buck savings.
" I have no idea about that, I've all ways been told that you need the wireless receiver since the 360 controller uses a proprietary wireless 2.4ghzand I just got done doing a search online and could not find any 3rd party or hacked drivers that allow it to work any wireless receiver. "
Microsoft does use a proprietary wireless signal and you need the receiver to be able to the 360 wireless controller with a PC. I have a receiver and honestly, you are better off buying a wired controller and skipping out. I have had so many issues with the drivers just stopping on me, or the controller randomly disconnecting. It's not worth the $19.99 for the receiver, when for $10 more you can get a wired controller. (could just be I run x64) "
I have the Wireless gaming receiver and it works just fine 35+ hours with Last Remnant and well over 100s of hours with FFXI no random d.cs or anything. Me and 2 other buds were playing with 3 controllers with Trine the other day and worked great. Sounds like you just have a bad receiver or somethings wrong with PC.
" I got upgrade and just do the workaround by installing with no key, and then run the install on that OS install. "
Or once the first install is done, just click "register" and call it a day? You don't need a copy of XP on the machine to use a Vista Upgrade disk, nor a Windows 7 upgrade disk. [i have a vista upgrade disk, and it works great for clean installs, and i've read the same for win7] "
I have tired that, it would say that this license is for upgrade only and would not activate (unless I did another install), you are either lucky or have a retail key somehow.
