Man, those mikes sound great, totally gives the QLs a new feel. I'd recommend pumping up the game audio a bit in the future, but man, it's like night and day compared to things recorded last week even.
For accepting Dan's article as a well-written, thoroughly documented subjective opinion of one man's review of a game in its current state, and in the same breath read every single comment all in the wide range of agreement, understanding, dissension, and shit-talking with the same weight, I have become madness. Truly, to trust the internet's opinion on a video game website's 3/5 review is to see hell.
I like that in the last episode, the script left enough ambiguity and throwaway lines from Chloe, Max, and the bulk of the last hours' sequence to open the window that all parties are completely cognizant of that time-honored concept of "Hey, quit travelling back in time to fix things, shit gets fucked exponentially."
At the end of the day, not only am I glad GBEAST did what I'd do at the end (and that Austin voiced the alternative), but that a narrative involving time travel allowed you the choice to cut the loop before it starts. Imagine if Primer, Timecrimes, or shit even Looper had the same out.
