Tony Hawk: Underground for the PSP introduced me to Atmosphere

the song "Trying to Find a Balance" was so awesome I had to find out who sang it.

I'm now a gigantic Atmosphere fan, even though their work is a bit hit and miss, when it hits, oh man. Just some amazing hip hop.

I would highly recommend getting BOTH.

Rock Band 2 I've put so many hours into I can't even count. I have over 150 DLC songs I've purchased.

But Beatles Rock Band is very different in a way and is just a beautiful game. I play it often as well though obviously it has limitations being based on ONE BAND.  Even non-Beatles fans I have forced play it have agreed it's just a great game that pays homage to an amazing band and can even get you into the Beatles if you aren't already a band.

But yeah buy RB2, play it for a month or so, and then pick up Beatles: Rock Band on the cheap.

And just bliss out.

I've had odd instances of this happen throughout my life but the only time it was REALLY bad was when I first got into Tony Hawk 1 for the Dreamcast.

Got it on a Friday, spent the entire weekend playing it. Like literally.

Come Monday, when I left the house, I swear all I could see was grind lines everywhere. Every curb, every bench, railing... I could NOT stop imagining riding every single one of them. It didn't go away quickly either lol. So weird.

If that kind of thing makes you throw up in your mouth.... then that's exactly why you SHOULD take the job.

We need people like you to start working at Gamestop. Non-douches of the world... unite!

It's gotta start somewhere. Be a normal geek and go change the system from the inside out, sir.

Rock Band 2 for sure. There's so much great DLC out there.

If you give me a list of bands/songs you like, I can let you know if they are in the game or recommend something similar. I'm a bit of a RB2 junkie.

Also with Rock Band Network launched there is a TON (too much in my opinon) of Heavy Metal now available. Also every Rock Band Network song MUST come with a 30 second free playable demo. So you can try before you buy.

Edit: Oh you have a PS3. Never mind, the Rock Band Network is only really functional on 360. If you have a 360, buy Rock Band 2 for it instead.

If you could pick 3 tv shows that were canceled or ended on their own volition to start up again and continue on...

what would they be?

My picks:

1)Kitchen Confidential
2)Firefly
3)Carnivale

aaaand.... go

Even if both versions are identical, I'm buying it for 360, as I do for 99% of my multi-console purchases.

I've just become to comfortable on the 360, with the controller, my friends list, achievements, etc

I like my PS3 and all but.. come on

They're two different kinds of games... I mean I'm buying both. I'm thinking i'm going to plow through Alan Wake fairly quickly, enjoy the experience, and then move on to Red Dead and spend a ton of time there
