On that huge Forza patch, according to Neogaf they accidently pushed up a complete developer version with dlc and unreleased cars instead of the intended patch.
@bartok: are you talking about him cutting out all the time? Vinny re-uploaded a fixed version. If your app auto-downloaded it right when it posted you might try re-downloading it.
@cooljammer00: Yup. They have a break about 45 minutes in where Drew asks people to submit survey answers to http://podsurvey.com/alt for potential ad sponsers. Seems reasonable since they moved the podcast from premium to free.
For those interested in the WW1 talk, Dan Carlin's podcast 'Hardcore History' has a fantastic 5 part series on WW1, entitled Blueprint for Armageddon. While World War 2 seems to be generally viewed as Good (Allies) vs. Evil (Nazis), WW1 is much murkier. Neither side seems really great. So Great Britain/America/Russia/the rest of the Allies, could somewhat justify the horrific casualties in WW2 with, 'well, the Nazi's are surely evil, these young people dying are dying for a good cause, to stop this evil.'. In World War 1, the reasons for war weren't nearly as cut and dried. And when general's threw thousands of lives every day at enemy trenches to gain 100 yards of territory, it does not sit as well in the history books.
Edit: I am an American who has tried my best to understand the world view of the World Wars. If I am incorrect in any of this, please, let me know.
