I'd be all for it. Any excuse to play those games again, they're all pretty fantastic.

I've bought a few things - I think a couple just came through, but there have been a couple I've had to pay for. It's VAT + a handling fee IIRC, so depending on the price I'd say that the estimate of around the £10-20 mark is probably what you're going to be looking at. You might get lucky and have it just arrive, though?

I enjoy reading their reviews when they feel like doing them, so I voted for yes.

But I am totally happy without them, and it's not really what I come to the site for. It also wouldn't replace those meandering discussions during podcasts, nor during Game of the Year - and I wouldn't want it to. I come to GotY for those long, meandering back-and-forths on what people love and hate about everything from that year.

So yes, I'd still like to see them from time to time - but only when a staff member feels like they want to express their feelings on something in written form.

Okay, I just read your initial post and based on that I would say yes, it's worth it to keep going. If you're looking for something substantial to happen, you'll get it.

Initially when you shrugged off the "robots have feelings" aspect I wasn't certain about recommending it, but actually I think that on the surface is very much a minor part of why I ended up caring about the story as a whole. That said, I probably enjoyed the combat a little more than it sounds like you are doing. But even so I'd probably say you should continue.

I felt a little unfulfilled after the first ending - it was nice, but nothing too special. I enjoyed the second playthrough, but far moreso for the side stories that come up than for the 9S angle on things, which I actually thought felt a little weak at times (especially compared to the way they handle a similar character switch in the previous game).

But once you get through that second route, the stuff afterwards is worth everything you've put in to get there - and I wouldn't consider it a spoiler to say that it's all completely new content from then on out, you won't be repeating anything you've seen in the first two playthroughs. I'll block it anyway, though, just in case. But it's just a structural observation.

As I haven't spotted anyone else mention it, I'll say that I've had a ton of fun with Duelyst. It's free-to-play on Steam and, being a blend of CCG and grid-based strategy, it might be more to your tastes if HearthStone wasn't for you.

If your gripe with HS was its simplicity, but you liked the format, Magic is absolutely the way to go - but it's an expensive hobby and honestly I wouldn't recommend playing it digitally for the most part. It's very much a game designed around the physical format, and as such will never translate super well into a video game.

If you want to try something physical which gives you all of the cards out the box, Netrunner is the way to go. Someone already linked to a Shut Up & Sit Down tutorial on it, so go find that comment if you're interested because that crew are fantastic.

I only really notice it when I do it myself. It's a filler word, oftentimes (but not exclusively); I just tune it out.

I think it's probably good practice to try and minimise your unnecessary use of it but I don't mind if people continue to say it frequently.

The DLCs are fantastic. I'd definitely recommend checking them out - though be warned; if you don't like multi-stage boss fights that first DLC might prove a little frustrating.

I'd definitely recommend heavier armour - now you can go up to 70% in DS3 and if you bump your Vitality up a bit more you'd be surprised how much easier it makes things. Especially as points in Vigor are going to be giving rather diminishing returns with the level you're already at. Definitely no wrong way to play, though - if you prefer to grind out to a higher level and make bosses much more straightforward then that's a totally valid way to play, just the same as summoning in someone to help you out.

Equipment-wise I can't speak highly enough of the Lothric Knight Shield. At +10 it served me so well that I ended up relying on it for multiple playthroughs regardless of the rest of my build. It wasn't until my most recent time through the game (which ended up being the playthrough I did the DLCs on) that I finally made myself step away by using the Zweihander and forcing myself to play two-handed and learn to just roll through stuff instead of using a mix of rolling and blocking like I'd always relied on.

About 20% of the time I think, "no that's too much" or I'll write something and then see it and think it's a bit too spicy for my feed.

It kinda double sucks that now with Twitter I have to also consider that with likes as well as RTs, but I'll still sometimes 'like' stuff that I wouldn't RT. If it shows up in someone else's feed, blame the Twitter algorithms.

If you're going to spend the whole week with it, I'd go Witcher III. AC: Origins and DA: Inquisition are solid shouts but I don't think I'd want to deep-dive on them (I probably could for AC, but even there I tend to burn out after a couple of days and need to switch it up).

My actual answer would be Monster Hunter World, which I've been playing in pretty much all my free time this past week, but out of your options I'll say Witcher.
