PC gaming sure seems worth it, between always online DRM, games crashing and taking you back to the desktop à la Tomb Raider and having to constantly upgrade your rig.

@awesomeusername: Thanks for that, guess that pretty much answers my question.

I'm pretty sure you can redeem the PS3 cross play code straight from your Vita. So it would be wiser to pay an extra $10 and buy that version, redeem the code, and then trade the PS3 version in. Or maybe keep it if you plan on buying a PS3 any time.

You can't. You have to insert the game disc at which point the disc logs on to your PSN account where you can get the game for free.

So just to be clear - if I buy the PS3 version and insert the disc, the game will be unlocked on PSN, so I can download it on my Vita via PSN? Wonder how much I could get selling back the PS3 version...probably not enough to make it worth the effort.

You'd probably get a bit of in store credit that may make it worthwhile (I would guess they'd take it back for 15-17 USD)

Why does JJ Abrams suddenly have control over everything nerdy?

Because that Star Trek reboot was pretty damn good

Would we be able to alter the course of the console generation? Also, would I be able to have a conversation with my past self? Will I be able to grow a proper beard?

If all of those conditions are met in the hypothetical, I would of course choose the SNES.

Yes, this announcement would gift you the ability to grow a beard

Imagine: February 20th, instead of Sony announcing a new console (the PS4, a console that's more advanced than current generation consoles), a random publisher announces a console that has come out in the past. When this publisher (Nintendo, Sony, Sega, Atari...) announces this old console, everything about this already released, old console disappears from this world and we all forget it ever existed. Thus, it seems new. All the games that were released on this console in the past are rereleased in the same order they were originally released.

Basically, if you could relive an entire console generation as though it was new, which console would it be?

Me, the Gamecube. What I would give to replay Rebel Strike as though it was new, that game blew my mind.
