Started playing A Plague Tale: Innocence and it's pretty cool! I figured now is as good a time as any to play a game about a plague, and I was surprised immediately at how pretty it is. The story is good so far as well, almost reminding me of a medieval-times The Last of Us (although a Medieval Times™ The Last of Us also could be great). The stealth and puzzle mechanics aren't anything mindblowing, but it's never boring. Definite recommend on GamePass.
Persona 5 is fantastic! Lots of game in the game, one of the best soundtracks ever, and a genuinely good story. You can’t customize what your character looks like, but you still get to make tons of choices that customize the experience for you - dialogue, activities, NPCs to invest in, etc. Can’t recommend this highly enough!
@nutter: Thanks for reading! That is a good point about Freya’s knowledge of the bigger picture influencing her behavior at the end. I hadn’t thought about it from that perspective! I still feel a bit weird about it but that would be a really good direction for her character moving forward. I’m hoping we get another one of these sooner rather than later as well!
I played this pretty early after launch and ran into all sorts of balance issues, cheating issues, etc that really turned me off. What’s this game like now? I love the premise of it, and felt like it really could have been special with some tuning. Is this game at the “Taken King” point? Or is it not fundamentally that much different from when it launched? Thanks in advance GB folks!
