A bunch of 30 year old moaning that their childhood isn't being represented in their bright colourful and child friendly fighting game is really funny to spectate at least. People need to get some perspective (not aimed at this topic just the net at large) this game isn't designed to Taylor to you and your generation alone. Minecraft Steve is one of the most iconic video game characters ever especially to teens/young adults right now.
Activision release THPS 1+2 tomorrow - remade from the ground up with modern visuals, gameplay enhancments, options, online multiplayer. The game is coming out for £40 and will get cheaper over time if you'd like to wait
In 2 weeks time Nintendo release a collection of 3 ports for £50 which will be upscaled by the hardware with minimal tweaks, tweaks so minor that one of the games may not even function at all on the Lite or with a Pro Controller, on a limited digital run where each individual game is likely to GO UP in price once the collections is removed.
Imagine the reaction if Activision did that with Tony Hawk or EA did that with Mass Effect
At this stage the decision to make any controller incompatible is a business decision. For the most part the PS5 controller will function like a PS4 controller with a few bells n whisltes attached. Nothing that would appear to be vital to gameplay and only offers additional immersion benefits. Games that implement the tech in a way that is vital to the gameplay should have the option to make it PS5 controller compatible only - to do it on a system level seems 100% business motivated at this stage.
You cant tell me otherwise unless you think not a controller with the same number of buttons cant function like a PS5 controller? Without the feedback
It's certainly Picross x Phoenix Wright and whilst I find the detective stuff very slight and the environment scanning seems kind of half baked the actual writing is decent, the vibe is good and the Picross is very solid with a lot of assists available for people in it for the stories. The puzzles increase in difficulty at a nice rate so as that you aren't stuck on small grids for too long.
@jesus_phish: they've already gone that route, a pricing plan, duration etc etc in place. If the UK they do it through GAME and if you subscribed for 25pound a month you got an Xbox One X, gamepass and xbox live over a 18... maybe 24month, I forget, period. Once the contract is done you own the box and ha e the option to upgrade to the newest console. In this instance they offered an upgrade when the new box comes out for early adopters so they aren't stuck with a one x for the next gen
