I thought the AC open world was pretty good, so maybe you'll like the game better than Shadow of War, but the combat experience was much worse than Shadow of War for me.
I imagine that game would've done much better if the PS3 had come with a headset. I still really dig the premise, but there just wasn't enough coordination to make it any more than a giant TDM.
It might be difficult to stick to a vegetarian diet if you're going to think of steak as reserved for special occasions. If you think of meat as something to look forward to, a reward of sorts, mentally you're going to have a harder time getting excited about (or sticking with) veggies. Not trying to influence you one way or the other (I've been vegetarian for a few years now), but you should think about why you want to be vegetarian in the first place and if that's enough of a justification for not eating steak anymore.
I put a lot of money into a gaming laptop when I first got to college, but I was pretty disappointed. The performance you get is pretty underwhelming, without even considering the fact that the same money gets you much better on a desktop. I'd advise just getting the essentials for a laptop and put what's left into a nice PC, but I don't really know your situation. 8GB of RAM hasn't really been exhausted yet, unless you're doing heavy graphic design or something. 1 SSD is usually plenty (though I have 2 in RAID 0 for faster read/write.) Dunno about the rest.
I really liked KOTOR II right up until the final planet/ending. It felt like LOTR: The Third Age where you had a great buildup to essentially just a boss fight like any other fight and a nothing ending.
