Strangest Reasons for Replaying a Game
Fairly self-explanatory, and more for my own reference than anything, these are games that I've replayed for near-pointless (though sometimes specifically point-based) reasons that made sense at the time.

Needed "Conversationalist" achievement, which is about 95% of the way in.
Accidentally saved after the point of no return, and missed the "Krogan Ally" achievement, a good 10 hours.
Didn't think to punch a clown for "Party Pooper."
I'd already beaten it, but I was watching the Endurance Run and figured Jeff and Vinny doing 5 hours a week was too slow, so I did 100 in 2 weeks.
I couldn't remember why I quit before the end of the game the last time I'd rented this, so I rented it again. I remembered before I got the end, and still haven't finished it.
To refresh myself on the story of FFX-2.
Because I'd bought the Pets and Vacation expansion packs, and both of those were dropped when I got the Sims 2, so I had to go back to get my sim puppy on.
I wanted to see what the "Marry Anora yourself" option would yield. Nothing.
This actually applies to GH2, 3, and WT. Because beating the game on Expert didn't unlock stuff for beating easy, medium, or hard.
Specifically the endless setlist 2. I went for "Bladder of Steel" my first run through, but my guitar controller somehow froze, and when I disconnected and reconnected it, the game counted that as a pause, even though it was online multiplayer which can't be paused...
