Crazy times indeed.

Round 2 sounds insane but who cares, let there be another party were shenanigans commence!

Did anyone remember the Half Life 2 loading screen when you saw that picture?

Highly unlikely that they'll use the Source Engine but from the looks of it, it's an industrial area with a couple of old buildings and warehouses.

Looking forward to trying this - it always seemed like a PC style of game to me.  RE: The port of GTA IV on the PC, it is far and away the best version of the game so long as your machine can handle it.  The performance is flawless on a i5 2500k and GTX 570 video card, and along with the resolution bump the view distance and detail sliders make it a much better looking game.  It may of been spotty at release but most PC games are now it seems. Some people forget that GTA IV was also too ambitious for consoles, I played through it on PS3 first, and it seemed like frame rate must of dipped down to 10 - 15 frames at times.

Definitely agreed on most of what you said.

When the game first launched, it was plagued with performance and framerate issues but as more people started complaining I remember up until the 4th or 5th patch, the game was stable enough that you could play it with ease if you had a good setup, something like a Quad Core or an i7. For me though, I had to use some command lines in order to unlock some settings but overall, I'm getting around 60-35 FPS on average with my 5850 and my i7 - 860.

I must add though, I really had a hard time running the game when it comes to SecuROM, it kept crashing and causing all kinds of mess, and the end result was probably something that no one would like...
