@alex, here are some tips for managing the real estate stuff without going too crazy in depth or beyond the mechanics you guys have already seen.
The people are broken up into 3 types. Advisors are basically consultants that improve the businesses to earn more money. Security are the people that prevent your businesses from being attacked. Managers affect how much money you earn from an area.
How effective the managers and security members are depends on how long they've been working. When you assign a manager or security to an area, they start on the first number. For example, if you had a security staff that had a -1 0 1 2 3 for their numbers, that would mean the first day they work would have a higher chance of being attacked, but they would steadily improve as long as they remain on duty in that area. Once they get to the last number, it will stay there until you change their assignment.
Managers also work in a similar same way. Their numbers determine whether you get a lower or higher than 100% take of the money. Managers also come into play once your security staff is defeated, but I won't spoil that interaction.
Basically you assign your best security and manager, and then check in to make sure that your manager isn't about to have a negative effect on your collection. It'll become more important once you have several areas that you need to juggle managers and security staff as well as more members of the staff to choose from.
