I agree with the OP in that FF7 is very much overrated and doesn't hold up by today's standards, but I really hate the way he types.  Also:  any "favorite games" list that has Kingdom Hearts on it is a terrible list.  Terrible.  I don't care if that's your opinion, it's just bad.

The achievements thing was really weird, they're all the exact same ones. They didn't even get them differently, a guy got Clean Kill when he killed a boomer, etc.

I have a feeling that this will be a massive update, but even if it is not it still looks damn awesome.
