It just occurred to me that this must have been the demo where the woman gave birth. I'm surprised that there wasn't more of a crowd reaction to that.

One thing that I am sad to see missing from all of these demos is the ability to block with a weapon. Even though it was less effective than using a shield, I enjoyed using my weapon to block in Oblivion because it allowed me to keep my spell effectiveness at 100%. And now that you can dual wield in Skyrim, it would be awesome to parry an attack and then slash away. I guess they haven't confirmed that it's impossible, but Todd always takes hits instead of doing it.

@The_Laughing_Man: It was 99% the same stuff we got to see from the demos that were released around E3. This was just an alternate playthrough, although there were a couple of in-between moments that were cut out before.

"Kill the horse! Where's its armor!?" Jesus Christ, no wonder developers never give demos to the general public.

Edit: In case this gets taken down and someone finds themselves in this thread, the video is just Todd Howard playing through all of the content from the E3 demo again. The only notable things are that he confirmed the return of the Dark Brotherhood and we got to see some more of the menu stuff, like what the spells look like when you are choosing them from your spell list.

Nope. Don't even have a Facebook account and I'm not about to start one now.

@Stahlbrand: Oh I didn't forget about the hat. I just think it's garbage. I rarely play TF2 anymore, and when I do it's straight 24/7 2fort. That's the only part of the game I enjoy. The hats are literally worthless to me.

Skyrim is my most anticipated game of this year, but I haven't pre-ordered it and I don't plan to. I don't really understand it. Giving your money now for something that you won't recieve for months? I guess it you are absolutely awful with your money, it might feel good to lock it in so you know you won't do something stupid later, but...I don't get it. If it pleases you, though, more power to you.

I have my browser configured to erase all cookies and data every time I close it. I've just gotten used to turning it off every time I watch a video. It would be nice if I didn't have to though. I agree about it defaulting to off. I would support that.

That's because they changed it due to the backlash. Their original intent was to convert everyone over to Real ID.
